"Go to bed" was something that I haven't heard in more than 20 years, but yet again, the host and owner of this accommodation had the audacity to say to me after sitting on the shared balcony and whispering with my friend.

Strike one was that when we asked for extra toilet paper for the room, the owner who deserves all ad hominems in the world, yelled at us in front of all his guests - because we asked for the toilet paper in front of the guests - we were making him ashamed.

Strike two and the major one was - at 2 AM, me and my friend were sitting on the balcony and playing yahtzee on a padded table so we don't make any noise. Yet, the owner, IN HIS UNDERWEAR, came up, started yelling at us to go to bed because we were making noise, when, from the same point it was noticeable that the noise was coming from elsewhere and not from us. Then, he started threatening my friend that he will HIT HER and he will "THROW HER OFF THE BALCONY". He backed off the two 27-year old girls when my boyfriend came out of the room - apparently the dude has a fetish for bothering and hitting women.

The pool was a disaster and smelled horribly - even stained our swimwear because it hasn't been cleaned in god knows how long. Room was also super dirty.

Nothing Short of a Nightmare

Area. Host realy helpfull. But….room so small and so outdated. Price 28 euro is aceptable if you dont look for something more. At least it is clean.  So if you look for cheap place to sleap over night in that area just so it.

Terrible rooms, too small, not enough place for showering. The staff was not friendly, and ready to argue with guests (got told to be back by 11 or we'll stay out). Towels not changed, and room NOT cleaned even once, for 4 days. Too far from the town, 5km from Nov Dojran, no taxi nearby. Not clean enough, spider nets and bird nests. Pool not cleaned as regularly as it should be, water temperature cold in mid July. Too expensive for Macedonia, not worth for even half the money.

Terrible rooms and staff, stay away!

Very good pit stop. Nice and warm people, nice and clean room, good average, very good place for pet lovers. Very good restaurant. A little bit hard to find but the road is excelent. The whole experience was very interesting.

Every year, on the way to Greece, ideal place to over night. Hosts so friendly that we are in touch during the year..Rooms clean. Swiming pool, restoran with fresh fish, tastfull piza. Bottle of domestic vine for every guest..

Again at Dan Dar

This was our second year spending night here. Really great atmosphere here. You feel like in your own house. Everybody is really trying to feel comfortable and to make sure that everything is fine. The place is ideal to stop by when you are traveling to Greece. Great for kids with swimming pool. They have restaurant with nice food, and around 5km is Nov Dojran, where you can walk by the lake.

Night in Dan Dar

If you are going to Greece or Dojran and other macedonian cities Dan Dar is a nice place with great food, hospitality and rooms. 10 euros for bed, you can swim at the pool all day, have a lunch, then rest for an our or two, then go the small city Dojran for a nice walk by the lake. After visiting Dojran, you can go back to Dan Dar and have a nice dinner.
After nice sleep, you can continue your trip to Greece. As a gift the owner gives you a bottle of great black wine.
