The hotel i located in the nice vicinity of 4-5 km from the city center of Ohrid. The rooms are clean but within the given 3 star can have better accommodation. The surroundings are green and very relaxing. The hotel facilities are ok and the food is great. The staff are friendly and accommodating to the customer's different requests. The lake shore is great and the water is very clean.

Good place, green and nice lake shore view

Nice clean room overlooking Lake Ohrid's beautiful sunsets. All inclusive was great choice lots of food, drinks and snacks. Catering staff were quite friendly, unfortunately not so the Reception staff.

European summer break

We were group of 4 who arrived in this hotel with a tour  , we were all picked up by the shuttle bus from the airport . Avoid exchanging money from the airport if this is your first visit to Macedonia.. this hotel gave us better rate compared to the airport . The check in at the hotel took ages , after a tiring flight we just wanted to get into our rooms but since we didn't have a "printed paper" of booking  . In digital age we didn't think this was that important, but I guess we were wrong . 
Our Room was standard , we were not too happy and decided to upgrade to metropole hotel the manager first suggested this was possible only on Monday , when we came back on Monday we were told it's more expensive  on which we said that's fine we don't mind paying more.. but then we were told it's not available.?! , without them even checking on there system .
The staff were mostly all friendly in the hotel .. within days of arriving our toilet flush stopped working and we were asked to change rooms which we didn't want to as we had family next door , room was cold at night... we spend a night in a different room , and the toilet flush was repaired next day  . The room we spend night in had electrical wire run open in the bathroom which I would think is dangerous .
The WiFi was good in the hotel 
The buffet breakfast was same all days  .. expect queues in the morning for breakfast coffee, tea and queues near toaster for bread . Less option in brown bread and rarely came out again once it ran out in the buffet
You have to walk through the restaurant to get to your rooms and there are is no lift from reception until rooms so expect to carry your own heavy bags . 
The walls of the hotel are thin so you can hear the flush/ noises  from next room . 
The restaurant menu does not have many vegetarian option unless you fancy boiled  bland vegetables or French fries , the chicken dishes were around 250MKD and when we requested for vegetable grill option we were charged 300MKD ..which combined of 3 broccoli , 3 mushrooms , 3 zucchini , you would expect vegetables to be cheaper but it wasn't the case in this hotel  ... as per there explanation  they catered to our needs . 
I would not recommend this hotel if you are young couple or even pensioners for the reason as there is plenty of stairs to walk up and down without any help. 


Standard Hotel 

First of all, my room is 84 degrees F.  Asked hotel to turn on my AC.  They came up twice.  It still does not work.  The toilet paper holder is falling off...paper ends up on the floor.  The liquid soap container is falling off it's stand.  Nobody can use the safes in their rooms.  There is noone on staff to open them.  Bathroom is tiny.  There is no hot water maker  in the room.  Hot water in shower does not work.  Wifi does not work in my room.  I am sitting in the lobby.  Because I am with a group, I cannot change hotels.  I travel every month..all over the world.  This is the worst hotel room that I have ever had.

I do not recommend this hotel

Rooms in bad conditon, especially bathroom. I arrived late night and they gave me room that was filthy. After I report it, receptionist took me to 5 different rooms which weren't clean from previous people staying there. Finally, I got a "clean" room, but the bathroom was still terrible. 

Dirty room

This is a fair hotel with rooms in which the wooden furniture is old and no electric kettle is available. Both bath and shower are inside the washroom. The balconies are large and if the rooms face the side of Ohrid Lake the lake view is very good and fine for sunset viewing. As the lake is very very large with extension into neighboring Albania at the far end, lake view and sunset scenes appear to be the best selling points. The dinner and buffet breakfast I had were of fairly good quality.   Though the staff were not conversant in English, I could feel the hospitality when I was invited by a waiter whose body language and Macedonian words gave me a signal of volunteered permission to enter the huge kitchen for a look when I was trying to take a photo through the glass panes of the doors.  When I had got into the kitchen, I found the place very clean, tidy and spacious and all the kitchen staff were looking at me with a friendly smile.   If you stay there, do not miss the chance to take a walk along the beach downstairs after watching the beautiful morning sky above the horizon of Ohrid Lake.   I missed it as I kept taking photos of the good views from my balcony and had to rush down for breakfast and an early checkout.    The outdoor seating area on the ground level are ideal for tea or beer if you happen to be there when the sun sets.

Fair hotel with a lake view and friendly staff

Dispite the room was clean, the bathroom was terrible. Hole in the tile wall, toilet seemed very old. Tiny wasching table. No ventilator. It was not a pleasant bathroom. The beds in the room where no beds. Just boxsprings on leggs. TV was very old and had mostly no good view. Phone is old and dated. View of the lake was wonderfull. As a minor and sigle plus.
