The hotel has a Nice pool, big rooms and Nice balcony. Good showers and free parking.

But it is in need of a renovation. Carpets are old, tiles broking, and general a tired look. The staff need an upgrade. Very limited English spoken, making it hard to order breakfast. At lunch, dirty plates from breakfast was still on the tables. At 8 pm we ordered a cup of coffee. The bar was dirty filled with used glasses and wet. They took a cold cup of coffee and heated it up with steam !!

This is not a four star hotel, but if you keep expectations low, it is not that bad for the price. 

In need of a renovation

Stayed for 2 nights, with kids. The rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable. The linen and the towells are superb. Exceptionaly clean, especially since the interior room decoration is somewhat older. Breakfast is food. Staff kind and very helpfull. Good value for money. Would come back definetly.

Very pleasant stay

We stayed 7 days in this hotel. 
The room: spacious but in the bathroom there were  some  things  broken  that could be easily  fixed  such as  the handle  of the  cupboard.  Good bed and terasse. 
Breakfast: very good. The eggs  were delicious. 
Dinner: no complex  dishes but good.
The first 2 evenings we  went  to dinner we had to approach the personnel ourselves  to get some drinks with our dinner.The 3rd night they came spontaneously towards us asking  if we wanted something to drink.
One false note: we took 2 beers from the minibar during our stay which we payed on our last evening.  The morning  we left we had a discussion  with  the reception desk that  we still  had  to pay 1 beer.  This  could  have been easily checked  in the computer i think before starting this  discussion with us.

A bit of lost glory but good

Located some 25 mins from St Paul's airport, 15 mins from Ohrid city center and walking distance from the lake, I would say location is just fine. A taxi to Old City will cost you 3,5 to 4€. Medium sized hotel with 40 rooms means there's never a crowd. Pool - with kiddie part - is a great asset and there are always sun loungers free,  with mattress ! Rooms are decent size, bathroom ok with soap and wash gel; Carpeting everywhere ! Our view was lake sideways, but I think rooms looking onto pool are nicer. We didn't mind, they all have balconies with chairs. A/C works brilliantly, good sturdy beds, lots of cupboard space. Breakfast basic but surely anything you need is there. Decent coffee. Special recommendation and a treat is the homemade lemonade ! Reception staff very friendly and cooperative. Waiting staff also extremely friendly although not pro-active, must say once you get hold of one, things are brought with exceptional speed. We had 5 lunches and 4 evening dinners at the hotel and the food was top every time, and inexpensive. During our stay we had the pleasure of being entertained by a Polish woman animator whose enthousiasm was unrivalled and my son had a blast participating in all her pool games. Little gym in-house and ample parking space (100 cars would be my guess). Swimming in the lake will have to be done from the beach at hotel Granit - 3 mins down the road - where you can rent a deck chair. Other option is Sv Stefan beach which is bigger but requires a treacherous walk of 20 mins down the coastal road = no walk or bicycle path...
Hotel is 4-star rated, but I would give it 3-star. Don't get me wrong, it's a good hotel, we knew where we were going and we had a marvellous stay, but it needs a few tweaks to make jump a level. Value for money = excellent.

A few good assets, great stay

Clean room, far away from center, no heat in room this time and we asked many time to check it they didn’t fix it. Just air condition for cold. Nice view, coffee was terrible 
Nice swimming pool for summer time 

Far from center

Very good hotel on a nice location (about 7 km. from Ohrid Center). Taxi 3,00 EUR. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing you ask is too much. We had a family room on the third floor with a beautiful view over the lake. We will come back one day. Special thanks to the manager Mr. Aleksandar Hadziev.

Fantastic hotel - great staff - nice location

We got there just to find out that the hotel is far from the center of the city. In addition we were not informed that there are different rooms( lake view, pool view and no view). We were assigned a room with a view to a rusty small roof ( even though the hotel claimed it was lake view). The toilet in the room was leaking. The shower's faucets were broken. When we complained they fixed it but told us they cannot change a room because there is a wedding and all the rooms were taken. Since we were staying 5 nights they promised that the manager will speak to us the next day. At night the wedding took place until after midnight just below our room with loud music. The next day we were told by a very unpleasant receptionist that the manager will come only on Monday and only then can we change rooms. In addition there was another wedding this time till 1 am. 
We did get a new room on Sunday night, which was an improvement but still basic things like liquid soap was missing, there was no shampoo, conditioner or body cream. Definitely not 4 stars. The hotel is clean and breakfast was reasonable.
