2023年9月に宿泊。空港からの送迎は200ブル、貸切なら1300ブル。空港から30分から1時間かかります。他に公共交通機関がないので宿泊時に事前に送迎を予約することをお勧めします。立地は良く、ラリベラの中心の広場から10分程度の徒歩圏内。教会群からも徒歩で10分程度です。丘の上に立っており、客室からの景色もいいです。客室は清潔です。ややトイレとシャワーに汚れがあります。雨季のため蚊が多かったですが、次の日の清掃から室内にスプレーをして対応してくれました。アムハラ州内の内戦中のため、州内全域でWiFi使用できず。地下にレストランが併設されており、エチオピア料理、スパゲッティなどがあります。オーナーとスタッフはとても親切で、要望にも応えてくれます。I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023.It takes 30-60 mins from the airport of Lalibela. Since there is no public transport from the airport, you need to book a lift beforehand. It costs 200 ETB for a shiring, 1300 ETB for a private.Location of the hotel is great, you can walk to central plaza of Lalibela and the rock-hewn churches within 10 mins.Rooms are clean and cozy. There is a restaurant at the basement which serves spaghetties, pennes and Ethiopian dishes.Wi-Fi was not available due to the declaration of Emergency on Amhara region.The owner and the staffs were all kind and helpful. They invited me to their house for branch to celebrate the New years Day together.

Great family run hotel - they were really helpful all throughout our stay and very kind. Food was great in the restaurant and location was perfect for the churches. Would def recommend to any Lalibela visitors.  Great budget option. 

Great family run hotel

Its a hotel in a most amazing spot in Lalibela. All the views are spectacular. The host is an amazing communicator and you will learn much about the ancient and historical city of Lalibela in Amhara, Ethiopia. I am so glad I too the time to visit.

Amazing vistas of the city and the valleys surrounding this hill top hotel

We stayed two nights here,it was so cheap I didn't really understand at first.
Breakfast outside in a sunlit courtyard,copious and tasty.
 Very helpful manager,
At 1200 ETB /  24 USdollars a night for a huge room this was excellent value.

Great value for money.

We came to Lalibela and stayed at Honey Land hotel. Everything was excellent. Very clean and nice. Excellent view from on top of the mountain overlooking Lalibela. There was no electricity in the town but Honey land had a generator which they ran for the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

Excellent clean hotel with awesome views

This was the best place we stayed in Ethiopia. Amazing value, clean with tasteful deco, fantastic view over the mountains, amazing shower and gorgeous food. The people working there are extremely helpful and kind,  and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.

Perfect Honey Dreams 

This hotel is well located in Lalibela and has a nice crew. The owner is very helpful and warm.
It has a good Wi-Fi connection in the restaurant, but sometimes it doesn’t work in the room.
The food is also good and there is a great variety, even for vegetarians like me.
I recommend this hotel to everyone who visit Lalibela.

Recommended Hotel

Not sparkling brand new nor glamorous in any way but a very pleasant stay in this outskirts hotel, with a charming owner.  Gennerally clean and well-run.  Really good Ethiopian food - ask for the shiro and ingero, with extra sauteed vegetables.

Not glamorous but lovely stay

This is a small hotel with a lovely staff that is most helpful and kind. Our room faced the back and had a king sized bed and a wardrobe. The rooms on the front are much larger, with two double beds and a balcony. There were really good food options, even for us vegetarians. The pizza was excellent. Our laundry was done perfectly and for a moderate price. The hotel's generator does a great job of supplying electricity when the city's power goes off daily. The wi-fi never really worked in our room as we were on the top floor at the end of the hall and the box is downstairs and outside. But, we were able to use our phones as hot spots.Honeyland is conveniently located and surprisingly quiet.

Comfortable, great staff, good food.

We had a vast room with lovely furniture and a good shower. They do a decent menu and also have an onsite shop where we were able to buy some wine and where they also have chocolate and various other food and drink as well as some souvenir stuff. 
The best thing about the hotel is the service, we asked the owner about visiting Ben Abeba and he drove us there himself and arranged for someone to pick us up and take us home.
