I had business meeting and stayed for one night. The overall service seem fair, the food is good and the room is also fine but the bathroom is too old and all the bathroom materials are too old and too dirty. 

My experience during my stay 

After spending seven days at the place, it felt like forever as I was so annoyed and just wanted to get away and couldn't because I was there for work training. I promise my colleague during the training that I have to rate this place to warn other not to waste their money and time coming to this place hoping they will have a good time. For a starter, Reception is terrible, waiters don't know their job, services at the rooms are next to nothing where they don't even change the bed sheets throughout the whole seven days I was there. They could' t even care to put slipper in the room for the guess's use. While going to lake side, it was very slippery because the road is covered with algae and can't even clean it. 

All in all, please don't go there as there are a lots of resort around the lake if you wanted to make the most use of your time. You are all warned and you now can go at your own risks. 

Worst experience ever

I am confident to witness that it is one of the worst hotels in Ethiopia—just running for money with poor reception and untrained receptionists, rooms full of cockroaches and bad amenities, bad tasting food, slippery surfaces and roads with gentle slopes; deteriorating structures, and poor architecture and land scape. so so bad hotel.  The spa service and the gym are substandard.

I stayed for three nights for a workshop organized by a UN agency.

Full package in one place. I enjoyed my stay, the walk side by the water is so comforting, so peaceful and quite, the water view from my room was breathtaking and the sunrise was perfect in the morning. The place is so alive during the day time, at evening, so early it gets so quite and a bit scary, I guess it's the locals who gives the place a light, anyhow I love it, I will definitely come back soon.

When we arrive at the restaurant a Waiter led us to our seat and he kindly explained that there is only buffet and from the menu would take the whole day. when we are ready to get our lunch from the buffet, we were asked to show a reciept of payment that we didn't know we had to pay at the entrance. the person who was responsible for that at the front door,as we understand it later, is a multy tasker and she helps somewhere in the restaurant. 
The food was not good either but if you are hungry it is eatable. The horror came later when we asked to pay, they accept only cash!!!! they said there is ATM outside and it is working to check only the balance , the corresponding buttons to withdraw money were not functioning. 
Finally we were taken to different building where the resort receptionist is located. And the staff tried their best to process our payment and they told us there is a network problem, but half an hour ago we dropped off our kids in kuriftu water park and the payment went through in a second. The problem was they dedicate the restaurant to CBE bank. They are not working with the other POSS processing banks like the other normal restaurant would do in area. I will never plan to go there without cash or maybe never.

A Zero star restaurant

we prepared a great organizational staff recreation and communicate a head of time with formal communication in the mean time they changed our selected choice with out notice and excuse with unprofessional communication, I will not recommended service at all and they need to get customer handling coach and need service transformation.

If you appreciate a beautiful lake view, traditional cottages with cold water half-functioning shower, a quiet rest without internet, no need for an operational gym, no problems with walking in the dark to your cottage over slippery stones at steep pathways, this resort is exactly what you need.

Beautiful view without service

No! Not at all. No one was there to ask what we were looking for at least first day on our arrival.  The food is pretty terrible. The resort provide you with no reasonable choices though it is a buffet . Similarly, the food served at  lunch and dinner; twice at tea break were the same (no preference, no change) . in the room  Wi-Fi is not working, and almost no light. Moreover , the toilets is not working.

Do they know  what customer service is ?

Adulala resort, although an attractive and refreshing place, I am very disappointed by the service given to customers. The people there especially the event coordinator is not welcoming. As an event coordinator he was supposed to show us around but sat in the office telling us to go look at the proposed event spot. He even had double booked a wedding spot and created inconvenience for both couples.
They don't even decorate a room for wedding night and room service is the worst.
In summary, it is definitely a place with an excellent view but with a staff full of poor attitude and customer service. Don't waste your money for such a disappointing service!!

Terrible service and incompetent event coordinator

I would say the view, the architecture and the provided amenities are good but it is way TOO overbooked, even to the point of having two weddings on a side-by -side alter on the garden 😒.  The weddings, atleast the one we were in, lacked major hospitality from the waiters and in some case even there was a shortage of drinking glasses 🙄
The ONE thing I would recommend, for those who have little kids, is the play area.
