The worst experience ever!!! 
I booked the so called suite room for 200USD per day on a Tuesday. They said it is different from the standard room, for the jacuzzi and the massage included. Arrived on a Saturday as per my booking and made the payment. 
It was a nice spacious room. But the shower was not functional and didn’t have warm water… the jacuzzi was a functional jacuzzi (they said so) but with broken handle… no warm water. Couldn’t fill the tub even with the amount of water that comes out… Even the maintenance guy could not get the warm water to work… I was told that the water was warm enough for a jacuzzi but it was literally cold and I hated them arguing over the temperature of the water when in fact even the shower was not working… 
There was water leakage in the room at night when it was heavily raining… I though the ceiling was gonna come down 😞 didn’t sleep at all… they didn’t even apologize or try to offer some compensation…

Not Recommended!

The strongest point of the resort is the lake view from the terrace (hence the two stars in my review). Apart from that, my room was dark, smelly and without hot water, not a great combination for a pleasant stay. Loud music and hard bed are additional annoyances.

Needs improvement 

We stayed a night in this hotel.The location is fine.The food is expensive but very good.The serving staf is very friendly.
The accomodation.with one child we paid 205 dollars for the night.No hot water,no bath.only a shower.took a shower with very called water. The handle of the washbasin is broken.
We were told to use a spa instead of a cold  shower in our room. 
Very strange. If i do not want to use a spa then i have to skip my morning or evening Shower. 
In the center is Bishoftu you can have a room with a water boiler installed in for 10x less.
We were to lazy to go back to the center of the town and we paid a price.

The door of the cupboard is broken and can not be closed.
Generally to say.

It does not worth 200.00 dollars per night butnot even a 100.00. dollar.
I will not recommend to any body .

There is no hot water in this big hotel...we spend our night by noisy persistent cat sound above the roof...the staffs are not cooperative all dormants...home phone not working....we beg so many times to get sandals in room even....the money doesn't worth.

Disappointing service liesak resort

The good:
- polite staff
- good food
- beautiful view
- clean room

The bad:
- music blasting all the way from the dinning area to rooms till 10 PM
- wi-fi weak, not functional in the rooms/room area
- TV shuts itself off every ten minutes
- hot shower not really hot
- friend woke up to find the floor covered in water, his laptop bag soaked (leaky pipes)

Could not sleep due to the loud music

I am an Ethiopian who lives in Addis. I stayed at Liesak Resort for a couple of nights and my entire experience has been very disappointing. It is not worth the money. I have stayed in other hotels in Bishoftu in the past they are way better than Liesak. The buffet did not have a lot of options. The waiters were too slow and they dont seem to have anyone supervising them. When I checked in I had to wait till 2 until they make the rooms ready. All in all it was a disappointing experience and I have not intention to go back!

Disappointing service

We booked our stay by the phone and when we arrived the receptionist didn't reserve our booking. They kept us waiting for two hours to arrange the rooms. The food was not good and their service was crappie from the reception to the restaurant. We had the worst experience at liesak resort and I don't recommend to anyone!!

The worst service and experience

I want to send my sincere appreciation for the service I had in my stay at your resort .On behalf of the International +National NGOs partners who attend the event, I would like to thanks a lot for the hospitality and exclusive high quality service and a stay we had at your resort .The Resort hotel staffs were so disciplined, well organized, friendly. The hotel rooms, foods and drink service were wonderful. Our stay thoroughly enjoyed the pool and other package service very well. For us, it was nice to get an opportunity to simply have a real, lively, attractive resort with our international NGOs partners.

Exclusive high quality service

The level of service is NOT one that we expect in Ethiopia. They give EXCELLENT SERVICE, Similar to one in the USA. The employees really CARE about satisfying your needs. The food is delicious. The view is relaxing, making you feel like you are in the Caribean, Brazil and of course Ethiopia. The General Manager and Owner of the property are very warm and lovely people. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to remember Ethiopia beyond the unfortunate service and expwrience you receieve elsewhere.

Astonishing experienece !!

This comment is for people who want to book a room at this hotel. The room costs around $160 for a night and it includes breakfast, dinner, massage, and boat rider but don't get fooled by the buddle package. The availability of massage is limited. They only have a couple of massage rooms so it gets booked very quickly. The boat ride is scam and a ripped off. We have been told the ride is 15 minites for the people who booked the room but for other people who are not staying at the resort (for those who paid entrance fee), the boat ride costs less than $10 for 30 minutes (200 Ethiopian Birr). Absolutely make no sense. My recommendation is Don't pay for the room, just pay the resort entrance fee and you will have a great time. If you break down the cost, what you pay individually for each service is much less than what you would pay for the full package. The resort Entrance fee is approximately $15, the boat ride $7, massage $10. It wasnt worth the money as you can get similar hotel for half the price Pros: Nice view of Sunset, the breakfast and dinner were great. Clean room. Great security.Cons: Some of the staff were not train properly. We waited 30 minutes to order food. Then we went to the bar and waited 45 minutes for the waiter to come to our table and take our order. What surprise me the most was the place has more staff than guests but still provide poor services. The Wifi is not that great as well.
