It’s a good place to be. Very comfortable bed. Bath water should be warmer. Will stay there again.

I checked into the hotel last night and was given a room that had an awful stench. I requested a new room and after an hour I was moved to a new room. This room was nice and clean. A bottle of water was removed as I was a single guest so I am only entitled to one bottle of water.
As the hotel does not have air conditioning I wanted to open a window to discover that I could not. Upon opening the curtains I discovered that my windows were part of the guest staircase, There were tea cups with tea but no kettle. These are just a few issues,
The breakfast was also pathetic, Yet this hotel has a high rating on booking.com.

Comfy beds and good location, but better hotels available

Bed still dirty of the previous customers, I dont want to explain details but well I'm a human being and I know what was that dirty INSIDE the bed!!!!
Nothing to say about the girl at reception, she was very sad and ashamed of the situation, she tried to give us another room but I preferred to ask refund and leave the place!!!!!!

Recently refurbished, De Leopol Hotel offers a perfect combination of comfort and luxury in a typically urban setting. As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you're impressed by the sparkling interiors with a golden, white and black theme that is carried through the entire property. The spacious lobby on either side of the main reception area is artistically decorated and decked with creative artworks, paintings and a beautifully crafted staircase that leads upto the upper deck.

By combining comfort and convenience, all 130 luxurious rooms and suites offer city views. All rooms and suites are generously sized, aesthetically designed and have all the comforts one could dream of. The bathroom facilities are excellent, with a separate jacuzzi, a walk-in shower, and luxurious toiletries.

The hotel's in-house facilities are one of the best on offer in the city, with a beautifully designed spa, a huge gym for those who want to work out, a swimming pool, an outdoor bar, and a hair and beauty salon – to name a few.

5-Star comforts and affordable prices

Currently at a wedding here and after they were paid a large amount of money for the wedding cake they are yet to bring it out. It took an hour for the cake to get here. 

When the cake just came out and the worst looking wedding cake I've ever seen in my life! It's obvious that they rushed the decorations on it. I feel bad for the bride and groom who had to endure such bad service. 

Saw the inside of their hotel rooms as well. Terribly designed, the hot water has too much pressure and can end up burning you.

DO NOT HOST YOUR WEDDING HERE!

Did not like the place right from the entrance but at least tolerable for a free stay on a layover courtesy of Ethiopian airways. The wifi did not work and there was a power cut in the early hours of the morning

Not so good facilities

I stayed here as a result of a stopover when Ethiopian airlines changed my flights they were supposed to be waiting for me at the airport which they weren't but eventually found shuttle bus to this hotel. I think this is where the hotel gets most of its business-stop overs from the airline. Room was okay but socket broken so couldn't plug in fridge to put bottle of water in. They provided a buffet meal which wasn't too bad. Small bar in same area friendly bar staff, There is an ATM outside the hotel but they change foreign currency at reception. Seemed to be a bit of female company available in the lobby if you wanted it .Breakfast next morning was nice enough.Main strengths to hotel was very nice and helpful staff. Shuttle provided back to airport was on time and speedy enough journey.en in a lot worse. Nice enough place have been in a lot worse.No WIFI available at the time.

Adequate Hotel

We had to fly to Tanzania and we had a layover stay in this hotel. The staff is very very humble. The food options are limited but decent in taste. The hotel is not old but has been maintained neat and tidy.
