The apartments are great with a lot of space. The furniture is very nice and stylish. The beds are really comfortable. There is a kitchen. The bathroom is nice. There is a good restaurant nearby. Recommended!

Great apartments

We went to Addis with our three children and stayed at EKkO Guesthouse for two weeks. It was a two bedroom apartment with fully furnished living room and kitchen. The rooms were very neat. 
The friendly and professional staff made our stay very comfortable. The location being a quite place at the heart of the city, it was convenient for us to move around the city easily. I recommend EKkO for single as well as visitors with family.

Stay at EKKO apartments

We stayed  4 weeks in the Guesthouse Ekko, we found it very comfortable, the apartments are very clean and bright. There’s a possibility to cook in the well equipped kitchen, and professional cleaning team cleans everything every day, we left everything open we didn’t miss a thing, the free WiFi is very good, cable Tv in the Room. 
Warm water and electricity is ready everyday, they use automated generator in case of interruption. 
the place is central, and safe.  
The personnel are very friendly and helpful in any issue. 
A place where you feel very comfortable for fair price especially for families with kids.

Very surprised

I have stayed at EKKO guest house for almost a month. I stayed in one bed room apartment on the second floor. The guesthouse was clean, safe and peaceful place.The price was not that expensive compared to the room.
The staff hospitality was great even if at mid night there is somebody to help you with big smile.

Clean and peaceful Appartment

This was our first trip to Addis Ababa in 10 years. We stayed at EKKO Guest House for almost three weeks, and we were so lucky to have found this gem! It is a great place to stay in a perfect location to explore the city. The staff and the manger were very courteous. The room we stayed in was quiet and kept spotlessly clean. The free wifi was always available which was a bonus. Well worth the money!!! …will definitely stay at Ekko again and hope it won’t be too long.

Very clean guest house in a perfect location

What could have been a positive stay at Ekko Guesthouse was tarnished by the theft of cash - around $200 foreign currency and 1000 ETB - from my inside my bag which was left in the locked second-floor room whilst I was out. I reported the theft to the duty manager, who effectively denied that it could have happened. The thief would have taken some time to rifle through my things to find my travel wallet, look inside it and selectively take certain currencies and not others, and the finger of suspicion clearly points to cleaners or staff at the guesthouse. Unfortunately no action appeared to be taken to identify the perpetrator, and no apology was given, so I felt compelled to settle my bill and move to another hotel. I accept that I took a risk by leaving my possessions in the locked room (like all travellers), yet the reaction of staff has left a very negative impression of this establishment. Untrustworthy.
