We came to the farm for a long horse ride in the nature and could not have chosen better! The horses were absolutely adorable, and the route scenic and varied enough to make the ride engaging throughout the four-hour trip. We were led by Siina (not sure if I got this right) who was super pro and friendly. We are experienced riders and have been to many horse riding excursions. This was absolutely one of the very best!

We traveled with our dog and were assigned a room in the barn. It was clean but....well...basic. Even if you are ok with a bathroom across the yard, the dark, stuffy and tiny space can feel a bit much. 

Our vegan diet was well accommodated, but the food seemed slightly overpriced. 

Overall, this is a wonderful place for horse-lovers and we would love to come back. However, unless they change their dog-policy and offer a room in the main building, we would probably choose to stay somewhere else.

Fantastic ride, rustic stay

Very cosy little horse farm (if you can call a farm of 260 horses little...). Don't expect much from the accommodation of food. Both were good and sufficient, yet simple. But the surroundings and the setting is perfect for all types of riders. The Estonian horses that this farm has are probably the nicest horses I've ever met. Extremely friendly, calm, welcoming and curious. And the way this farm keeps their horses seems really nice: outside as a flock, all year long. Exactly the way that's most natural for these creatures.

If horses are your thing, this is it.

We had a lovely afternoon ride, stayed overnight, and another ride in the morning.  The riding staff are great and the owner was very accommodating even when it turned out we had messed up our reservation dates.

The only less than ideal part was that we showed up about 10 minutes late for the dinner start time and almost all the food was gone.  They had to find some food for us out of the fridge leftovers.  So show up on time for dinner!

The rooms are very simple... but it's a horse farm, not a luxury hotel, so we knew what we were getting into.

Great activity with kids

I went on a 2 hour ride this morning - Katie was my guide and Victor was my horse. I am super luck that I was the only guest riding! We rode through the forest and fields out to the beach - it was so beautiful and peaceful. Katie was very knowledgeable and told me stories about the area and repeatedly checked to make sure I was okay. We did quite a bit of trotting and some cantering/galloping. I thoroughly enjoyed my ride and would highly recommend it!

We stayed at the new lodge for 2 nights. The accommodation is very clean, rustic and homey. Sadly my bed is not very comfortable but that happens. The breakfast and dinner were filling but basic home cooked food.

We visited at the beginning of April and were the only guests which was a bit strange. There isn’t a whole lot to do on Muhu Island. 

Fabulous ride!!!

Amazing place where horses are treated well. Beautiful landscape, fields, sea, forest and meadows full of flowers and butterflies. Three days riding with nice staff. Owners are proud of their farm. Highly recommended!! Will return next year.

Paradise for those who loves horses

I stayed at Tihuse for one week and enjoyed it a lot.
There are 2 houses: a new one with a beautifully decorated dining room with fire place and very nice and cosy rooms, an old rustic one, where the family has been living for centuries, as well as a small shed containing 2 additional rooms for the summer.
When making a reservation, you can chose where you want to stay.
Everything is clean and has been arranged and decorated with love.
The food is absolutely great, 3 times a day we had a selection of various homemade treats - a breakfast buffet with pancakes, homemade bread, cheese, salmon, etc. and for lunch and dinner there was always meat, fish, a vegetarian alternative, different kinds of salads, juices, and so on. They are also willing to prepare special meals for special needs (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc).
The owner and staff members are very nice and care a lot about their guests.
Also the horses, the horse riding offers and the environment are great.
I definitely want to come back.

Beautiful place on a beautiful island

We spent two days here and it was wonderful. Very pleasant communication in the preparation, precise information on the accommodation available. All the staff speak fluent English, the host speaks German (and several other languages). We were given a multi-bedroom with a communal shower, which was limited. The bathroom is simple but completely sufficient. There is also a sauna in the house. (We had booked very shortly in the main season). We were also given a double room with bathroom - and this was spacious and wonderful. It was very offered in the price. Most of the local products were offered.

Extremely friendly and well conducted

I stayed outside and during my four-day stay on Muhu, I took part in the Tihuse Excursions for three days. The excursions were great, the horses were great and very friendly, the riding was fine and super friendly and the scenery is absolutely wonderful. To this day I still think of the long gallopads over the huge peatlands or through the high grasslands. I will never forget these beautiful and pristine sections of forest that we have traversed.

Great outings in a magnificent landscape

We had a great week at Tihuse. The rides were wonderful and with the well-balanced and kind-hearted horses completely stress-free. The food was excellent, always freshly prepared and rural cuisine according to special requirements (e.g. vegetarian or lactose-free food) was served without any problems. The host, who worked very hard to bring us closer to the regional culture and history, and the guides were always concerned about our well-being and responded to our wishes.

Pure relaxation

Farm in the center of Muhu Island. Easily accessible and indicated from the main road (about 1.5 km) via a dirt road (about 700 m). We were able to eat in the evening on site a meal including a hot plate, dessert and drinks (water, apple juice, tea, coffee) for 11€ per person. The rooms are in a building away (23€/person). The room has charm. The rooms and the dining room have been visibly renovated recently. The car can be parked in front of the building with the rooms. This is all you can expect from such a farm.
