Travelled as a group booking.

Huge opportunity roam outside, in community areas and your own room [which are all very roomy].

Home style cooking provided by hosts primarily from their own farm  or at least locally.

Your hostess will certainly look after you.

If you need to escape from the noise of the city, stress of the job and cares of the world, come here and be renewed.  The air is fresh; the land is peaceful; the rooms are large, modern and comfortable (we stayed in a renovated building across from the main house); the meals are delicious; and the hosts are gracious.  We only spent a single night but could have easily spent a few days reading and relaxing.  There's not much within walking distance but then again that's why you're here!  A 3km walk through the woods will take you to a small harbor, a a small café that is open sometimes and a swimming spot.

Spent one night there, only good vibes, cosy, warm and welcoming. Nice breakfast in the morning, lovely friendly owners. Definitely recommend! Quiet and peaceful place. Interesting authentic design of the room, ours was African ) transparent door into bathroom though )) who cares 

We planned to stay in historic house of Aavik but instead ended up across the road in  a modern and beautifully decorated guest house from the same owners. Exotic paintings from Armenia and tapestries from Africa and Asia blended nicely with Estonian wood and embroidery. Dinner was superb and breakfast was to dream for. Cozy atmosphere, nice conversations with owners made our stay very very pleasant. We will be back

We have had an overnight stay in Aavikunurga for the second time. It is a great and peaceful place to stay. There are different houses and chalets available ... also a completely need house with rooms in the upper floor and the breakfast room below. Great people, great place, great breakfast ... always good to be there!

We arrived late afternoon between lunch and dinner time, starving and looking for a beer or wine to relax after a long day biking.  The hosts scrambled up some salad, home caught fish, and red wine as in impromptu meal in the beautiful garden.  Our room, in the stinking cute thatched roof building was large and comfy.

Dinner that night and breakfast the next day offered many delicious hot and cold items served in their new dining hall.  Eggs, cereal, breads, fish....

Grab a sauna if you can - they just need a few hours notice to heat the building.

The new dog was adorable.

Con: wifi not available everywhere due to the thick walls!
