Let's talk about the receptionist first ,she is a nice person made us feel welcome

The place in general is nice and their activity prices are very fair.The road isn't really nice for a small car but hey Zimbabwean roads are like that ooooh and the guy from the bar was also super nice but their beers are a bit overpriced

We had an awesome time as a group of students from Africa University at Eden Lodge for days outing. They have an awesome gazebo and a braai place which which we enjoyed as well as a water body for those who like water peddling I highly recommend this location because of its friendly and highly efficient staff 

We didn't get our breakfast the time we had requested so we left without having breakfast

We enjoyed 2 nights here. Staff were 100% professional, attentive and lovely.  Menu fairly basic/standard offerings of steak and chips, chicken and chips, curry etc but very tasty and great value.  Close to the nice things to do eg. Tony coffee shop, Ziva, and botanical gardens etc. Also they offer activities and there's a waterfall in walking distance, so plenty to do on site. (Tiny suggestion for improvement....Reception/lounge area quite dark. If it was my place I would move the giant banner that blocks a lot of light, as does the creeper that now covers all the windows, and open up the wide stairs descending into the garden in front, so the view of the lovely forest is better. I would also plant some more trees on the big lawn area).  We would go back, it exceeded our expectations.

Was there for a weekend outing with our couple friends, and it was quite a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The food was GREAT, albeit low on variety, and sometimes low on the speed of delivery, but the cook did a really great job with what he had. Ended up eating the T Bone more than once over the stay. 

The excuses for the missing truck (for transportation to the falls) as well as the non functional swimming pool were a bit of a put off, otherwise their staff are nice and friendly, and clearly doing their best with what they have. The rooms need an upgrade, especially the bathroom facilities, now archaic and out of tune with modernity, and their hot water capacity needs some improvement as it couldnt supply the 2 adjoining rooms we used at the same time. 

However, would definitely go back again, the only downside being the weather, this time will be better prepared. The very good on my rating is mainly a thumbs up to the employees, but the owners could do more to improve their place.

Nice, furnished and maintained outside view. Beautiful insides with quality furniture. Good beds and fair prices. Made for the medium to hire income earners and the rest may find it hard to cope with the prices.

The room was neat but need extra hovering. The food was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice place for retreats and escapes. Canoeing and horse riding available. Would have loved a swimming pool though. Clean bathrooms, hot water and borehole water.

Visited the area for seeing friends and visiting project .Eden L is a good and peaceful place to stay , everyone is very friendly and Welcome you

The local area was good but there are few issues that could be looked at to improve.1. Increase power supply points within the cottage. One power power for two bedrooms is a bit too conservative. 2. Improve WiFi connectivity to the rooms.3. Restaurant service was very poor. A lot of guests ended up having meals away from the lodge.

The place lies in the heart of Vumba, its an exciting & fun place. There's a dam for  canoeing and a Forest to trail yourself out! You need to have mountain boots to enjoy the trails and the surrounding sites!
