Cosian Bay Phu Quoc Resort

This family run resort is amazing. At capacity, it sleeps about 50 in a mixture of sea front villas and traditional hotel accommodation. We visited out of season (june) for 2 weeks as we wanted solitude and a much slower pace of life. Thor ( not Chris Hemsworth) was very attentive and could arrange almost anything. This seclude beach front paradise has swings on the beach, a swimming pool, and light touch jacuzzi. The food at the hotel is full of traditional dishes and some tgat you'd see on menus elsewhere. Although it rained most days, it kind of added to what I thought Vietnam to be. It was still in the very high 20's and early 30's. We used the kayaks to play on bath-like sea that was no more than a meter deep at 100yrds from the shoreline. There is a slight obsession with 70's and 80's Pop, that just adds to the holiday vibe. The grounds are kept very clean as are the rooms. Comfy beds, sea view rooms are so welcome after a long journey, and the AC is a welcome addition to this humid climate.....
