7 Stones Phu Quoc Guesthouse

Just had a great 6 night stay here.
Double room upstairs, was wonderful, clean, quiet and very comfortable.
Family who run the place very friendly and helpful.
On Lang beach a short walk away, beaches were clean and the water clear. 
Our visit was during the off season, so very quiet and only had a little rain.
Meal we had at the guest house was excellent.
Did adventure out and explore with easy access to some excellent seafood and Vietnamese restaurants.
This was a great low key destination and we would definitely return.

We stayed at Gecko guesthouse over Christmas and it was amazing. They arranged a scooter so we could explore the island, recommended places to go and things to see. Nothing was too difficult or problematic. You really made our trip to Phu quoc special!! We would recommend to anybody looking for a quieter accomodation with the option of a livelier time! We hope to come back soon!

I didn’t stay here, but when I was in Ong Lang last March, they held my backpack/suitcase for me all day while I wandered the beach, and they didn’t ask anything in return. Very generous people. I would consider staying in the future. 

Great setting for at budget friedly stay in Ong Lang beach. 
Very friedly staff, clean rooms and only a short walk to a good sandy beach.
A good place to stay if you want  to stay a quite place without to much noice around. 
Easy to go around Phu quoc or visit the night market in duong dong if you rent a motorbike.

Had lunch here some soup and a coconut drink. Soup a little more expensive than what we have paid elsewhere but not much, very tasty and staff exceptionally friendly, lovely spot also next to the beach :)

We planed to stay in Gecko Gesthouse only for two night, but ..we decide to stay.
You can feel like in home, this family is wonderfull and lovely so being there is funny and nice.
Rooms are always clean, aircondition is working.
Very nice, still paradise looking beach is close (150m).

We booked them through agoda.com. We just book one night to see how we feel but after check in we tell them, we want to stay 5 more nights because they are nice and very friendly owner. The location is quite far from the center but its out off the touristic place. Its near the beach and quite place

Het Gecko guesthouse is an amazing place.  A few of the rooms have sea view and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The staff is ever so nice and helpfully and they prepare great food for a good price. The place is run by very young people who are working very hard to get everything done. Meanwhile they stay super relaxed and serve with a smile. The sea view with sunset on the nearby beach is splendid. This part of Olong is still relaxed. Go and see the sun go down.

We stayed here after our previous accomodation was booked out and were glad we did! Rooms were large and serviced daily, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and served cheaper food than most places on the island. We got our boat and bus tickets completely organised for us and they even got up especially early to give us our breakfast at 6am before our ferry, then to top it off gave us little Christmas presents! 

Value for money  close  to the beach. Hot water, aircon,clean rooms beds are very firm.food is good.nice beach to sun bathe is only 3minute walk to right side as you face ocean.motor bike rental is cheap will come back to stay again

Nice guesthouse in Ang Long Beach

Good place to stay

We stayed in Gecko Guesthouse for three nights, paid €25 per night. 

Got picked up by Guesthouse from the airport, free of charge, free bottle of water too. About a ten minute drive to the guesthouse.

Location is in a quiet part of Phu Quoc (snouts 45 min walk to night market in the main town). 

Pool is big and given there aren't a huge number of rooms in this guesthouse, we often had the run of the pool to ourselves. Sun loungers by the pool too, however no cushion, you'll need your own towels.

We stayed in room 9. All rooms have a table and two chairs to sit out and lounge on. Staff also provide incense burners to keep away the flies in the evening time. 

The room itself is large enough, has another two chairs, small table, fridge (stocked minibar), mirror, TV, wall mounted rotating fan and AC unit. Bed is a large double.

Bathroom is large, shower unit separated from toilet and sink. We had hot water most times we used the shower. 

The lady who checked us in at reception was always very helpful if we ever had any questions, wanted to arrange a taxi, etc. 

Overall, would highly recommend this place.
