Hanoi Golden Plaza

We came across this hotel by chance in Hanoi. We had already viewed several hotels, but they were either over-priced, or under-clean! Golden Plaza was perfect. Very reasonable, extremely clean and with just what we needed: bathroom, tele, breakfast. It was also in a good location. However as our trip went on, the personal touches from the staff made our stay all the more enjoyable. My partner was ill on our third day in Hanoi and the staff at Golden Plaza were very helpful. Finally, just to prove that the hotel isn't only friendly when guests are staying, but also that their care extends to those who have left......when we arrived at the airport upon leaving, we realised we had left some paintings behind at the hotel by accident. Michael tried to find the cheapest way to ship them to us back in the UK and even though we sent him the money for the postage, he ended up having to pay slightly more but very kindly offered it as part of the service. Most places would not have done this in a million years. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Hanoi.
