We were looking for an inexpensive alternative to the pricier hotels right in town, while still being close enough to the action so that we could walk or bike to the city center. Nhat Vy was the perfect choice. The rooms were elegant and spotlessly clean and a fraction of the room rates downtown. For a few extra bucks we upgraded to an upper floor room with a balcony, which I definitely recommend, as the views from the upper floors of the Nhat Vy are breathtaking. The distance to town is something you need to work out, but we had planned to do some walking in Dalat so for us it wasn’t an issue. After spending a long time searching for a hotel in Dalat that had charm, excellent amenities, at low cost, we finally found it in the Nhat Vy. This is the hotel we will keep coming back to in the future.
