Great stay at the Beaulieu Hotel. Right in the middle of town, easy access to everything. Nice clean rooms, comfortable bed, good wifi, tv and airconditioning, also a lift. Wonderful friendly staff, especially Miss Nhung. Could not fault it. US$25 a night for double room was great value. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Probably the only picky thing was the safe in room is not bolted or attached to anything. Breakfast included was standard and ok. Very nice stay. Thanks 

Excellent Hotel 

Still at same address but just renamed to Beaulieu Boutique Hotel at 15 Pham Ngu Lao Street, Hue. I have stayed in this hotel previously and loved it then but to find they had improved was a great gift. They have tastefully renovated the entire hotel (some still in progress but finished soon). 

As usual the staff were fantastic and although we did not organize any tours this visit, that service is available. 

I have stayed in a few hotels in Hue but this is the most ideally situated right in the center of trendy, clean bars and restaurants. Don't worry about noise because it cannot be heard from inside the room. 

This is a great value, clean, friendly hotel.

Right in the middle of the action restaurants, shops etc. a great base to explore Hue.
An older hotel but well cleaned bathrooms, rooms, and hotel overall,
Staff always ready to help 👍
Would recommend it if your not a five star person and you just want somewhere basic and clean to stay,

Good location for bars and restaurants. Close to the river.
The staff are really friendly and were very helpful during our stay.
You get good value for money for the location.
Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but will definitely stay there when we return to Hue.

I've stayed two nights. It's excellent. They'll let you use the washing machine in common with the other rooms.

Unfortunately I have to give the Sports 1 Hotel a bad review. We walked in off the street after arriving to Hue without checking Trip Advisor and got quoted $15 for a double room with A/C.  We figured out it didn't make the room cool and asked for some support. We were told they will try to find a room with working A/C so we packed our bags to switch rooms. We waited about 15 minutes yet nobody came to switch our room. We decided to walk and find another place. We walked down with our bags and the gentleman that went to find us another room was doing nothing to aid the process. That being said, the room was clean and staff were friendly yet not the most helpful in our situation. You could find better at the same price or less nearby. 

Received poor A/C and the service was lacking. 

We stayed for three days in February 2016 at the Sport Hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very familiar. They took us to the market because we needed raincoats to ride our motorcycle to Hoi An, we negotiated prices. We felt well taken care of. We had a very nice, well-maintained room. Breakfast was fine. We would come back here anytime.

Perfect price/performance ratio/very friendly

The hotel is like some other traveller hotels in a side street with many cafes and restaurants. The rooms are absolutely OK, the upper overlooking the city. At a price of $15 a super price/performance ratio. The breakfast is clear, for a coffee I would rather recommend the THouse Cafe down the street. The reception and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, have booked bus and tours for us.

He stayed for two nights. for the price is very good, clean rooms and what I think is best the staff don't mind hiring their tours. although I didn't like it. i think everyone here and here is a good place to rest. recommended!

Centric and good value for money.

This hotel is indeed well situated and this may be the reason why the staff do not feel concerned about the hospitality of the guests. In a city that we have found very warm overall, the attitude in this hotel is somewhat denouncing.
