After a 17 hour train journey to HCMC, we were really worried about staying in a hostel for the night, thinking it would be overwhelming. GOCO Hostel was amazing - we had a bunkroom all to ourselves, hot water, separate bathroom and toilet (almost unheard of in Asia) and the staff had impeccable English and were super-helpful for anything we needed. We gratefully took part in the free beer for an hour in the evening, and they let us leave our bags safely on site for a whole day while we explored Cu Chi. Recommended in this big bustling, confusing city.
