First place we stayed in Hanoi and really enjoyed it. Firstly, when we arrived we only had USD so they paid our taxi in local Vietnamese Dong. They gave us a map and explained which areas were good and told us to look out for certain types of people, which was handy. The cleanliness and friendliness of the hotel and its staff were amazing, we wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked but we would return for sure. Its slightly out of the way but we prefer being off the main path so its quieter
