Now and then you find a town with an above-average gem for a stay over. The Yerington Inn is right on the main drag, in the center of this Mayberry-esque place. Across the street are 2 quiet casinos and shops with excellent food options. I was surprised at how upgraded and well-maintained the Yerington Inn is: all new furniture, modern design and spacious for a motel room. The TV setup is the best I've ever seen, with not only tons of channels to watch but also free on-demand shows (I binged on a few SciFi shows). Room had a good-sized fridge, microwave, couch...and no noise to speak of overnight. Not pricey at all Give kudos to the owner who usually runs the front desk. This was a business stop, but I had such a good stay I'm bringing my wife next time.
