We love coming to stay here - this was our fourth time! It is delightful every season of the year. Luke and Carin are so kind, thorough, and professional; they also helped accommodate our baby. We’ll be back! 

Us and another couple stayed for 2 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast hosted by a delightful family. Good beds, beautiful views, comfy seating area for all of us, and the breakfasts were delish!  Carin and Luke have cute children; their 2 friendly dogs are kept separate from guests but petting is allowed if you can’t resist. Their recommendation for eating at The Tillerman just down the hill was spot on - we don’t remember when we’ve had such a pleasant dining experience.  We would definitely return to this Vermont B & B at Russell Young Farm.

My son and I visited Vermont this October to spend time with my college student granddaughter and see the beauty of the state in the Fall. We originally planned to stay at a different B&B, but my son with disabilities wasn’t able to navigate their stairs. At the last moment, we searched for a new place to spend 2 nights and the Russell Young Farm surfaced as an option. Carin and Luke went out of their way to accommodate my son. We enjoyed our stay there, and the warm, friendly family atmosphere. The Farm was everything it was advertised to be and more. Breakfast was great and with a wonderful mountain view.

We stayed for about a week in October in Carin and Luke's beautiful guest house.  It was spacious, clean, and has amazing views!  The farm is fantastic, lovely grounds and views of the Green Mountains.  Our hosts were friendly, extremely helpful and overall wonderful people.  They took wonderful care of us. The area is beautiful, with lots to do and see, even in COVID times!  Highly recommend!

We had a great time at Luke and Carin’s BnB. They are warm generous hosts and our visit had many tasteful thoughtful touches. This was my second time staying and we hope to be back again! It is in a great location with good proximity to downhill and Nordic ski options. Winter wonderland!

We were married at Vermont B&B at Russel Young Farms over labor day weekend sight unseen and could not be happier.  Carin and Luke completely exceeded all expectation.  Vermont B&B at Russell Young Farms is the perfect spot for an elopement/ small wedding.  We had to the Inn to ourselves with our 4 guests and it was an amazing experience.  They have 3 guest rooms; two upstairs and one downstairs.  All are spacious and have private bathrooms.  There is also a lovely sun room upstairs and an extremely comfortable living room with fireplace downstairs.  The location is perfect, tucked back a few miles off the main road.  Close to town, but just far enough away for peaceful stargazing and quiet relaxation.  The property has lovely flowers gardens, a neat old barn, a pond, and a beautiful front porch facing the mountains.  The porch is the perfect spot for sitting a while to take in the view.  The rooms all have luxurious comfortable bedding, towel warmers, and so much more- they are perfectly lovely in every way.  All details have been thought of here.  Oh and the food... oh my goodness the food is so delicious.  Carin's Mom is a trained professional chef, so our meals of course were mouthwatering.  If you are looking for a quiet place for a weekend get away - look no further.  Book here and I promise you will be very happy you did.

My wife and I stayed two days late September. The property is gorgeous. Carin and Luke are so friendly and accommodating. We hiked, and toured Shelburne Farms. We loved it. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was a variety of fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, bacon/sausage, eggs/French toast. We couldn’t stop eating it was soo good!  WiFi kept us connected (when we wanted to be connected) otherwise it was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and enjoy a quiet two days.  Absolutely loved it and would come back in a heartbeat.

Vermont is the most beautiful state I have ever visited, and what made it perfect was this B&B.  The owners are so welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home.  The farm is quaint, and the views are breathtaking.  Carin and Luke know where everything is, and will give you fantastic tips on where to go and what to see.  They know all the best places to eat, and are happy to share their knowledge.  If you are really lucky, you will  get to meet Carin's mom, also Carin.  She is the best!!  The blue spruce room has a fantastic view, as I am sure all rooms do, and is super comfortable. You will thank yourself for staying here, I promise you that.

I am late,  but just wanted to give an excellent review to Caryn and Luke. 
My husband and I brought our daughter to Vermont to look at colleges this past August.  We had a lovely weekend at Russell Young Farm! The accommodations were excellent---from the décor, the wonderful bed, the lotion and soap in the bathroom--everything. We had two amazing breakfasts included and the beauty of the farm could not be more breathtaking. Caryn and Luke were gracious hosts. My husband and I really hope our daughter goes to college in Vermont so we can come back often! LianaC.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here for a little “babymoon” this last weekend. We had such a wonderful experience! The first thing we noticed was the amazing view from the front porch. Let me tell you, pictures just can’t do it justice. It is something special. The house itself is beautiful and cozy, our room was spacious and comfortable and Carin and Luke were the most gracious hosts. They’re so warm and relaxed, it feels like visiting family...that is, if your family prepares amazing breakfasts for you every morning! The food was SO GOOD! We were so impressed that they press their own apple cider, make their own maple syrup and grow the most beautiful flowers!! Carin also gave us some excellent recommendations on things to do in the area and restaurants to try, so definitely consult with her...she won’t let you down! I should also point out that the location is perfect if you’re looking to get away from it all and enjoy nature and the mountains, or if you’re looking for accessibility to great Vermont towns to visit! Shelburne, Burlington, Stowe and Waterbury are all a short and beautiful drive away. I would highly recommend this lovely B&B and I hope we make it back there ourselves.

Excellent

The McCarthy Family, Caryn, Luke, and Kellum, made our two night stay at their farm really special.  The location is perfect with views from the porch that make you feel like you are "far from the maddening crowd".  The bedroom was comfortable, and the breakfasts were amazing with their own fresh eggs and fruit.  We watched them press cider and work in their garden, and they made us feel right at home.  
It is the perfect get-away.
