Lakeport is a very small, rural town. Lakeport English Inn is the loveliest place to stay, convenient to downtown, and incredibly welcoming. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the house is beautiful, the breakfasts are really delicious. And the hospitality is top notch. You feel like you're visiting family - in a good way, with a gorgeous setting and lovely conversation in a really cozy and large historical home. In spring especially, the garden areas are lovely. Parking is on the street, but isn't an issue. In addition to being a great bed and breakfast, they also host high tea near Mother's Day and Christmas - which I highly recommend. It's such a special place!
