Pinecliff Village

Cute and quiet place, pet friendly,  property is very well taken care of. Condos are very clean and homely. Approximately 7min drive to casinos and race track.I have stayed several times and will continue to book my stays. I highly recommend

This was such a family friendly experience and comfort was exactly what we needed. The checking in process what fast and friendly.

Overall outstanding  of staff and resort was awesome. Even with the fire being eight miles away our
stay was seemed to short.

Was a wonderful place to enjoy a good time in Ruidoso. Comfortable, safe and only 2 minutes from a casino !

My family of three stayed at Pinecliff Village for 7 nights in October and enjoyed our stay there. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Much more pleasant and comfortable than a cramped hotel room. Our unit had 2 nice size bedrooms, a living area with a large tv, plenty of seating, dinning area and a well equipped kitchen with all the basic dinning and cooking needs. Just like at home!!! Cooking - in made our stay more comfortable. The property is conveniently located with easy access to anywhere you might need to go. The staff, Tracy, Anna and  Angelique are awesome. They are very pleasant an helpful with local interests and seasonal activities. Look forward to staying again in the future.

I had a nice stay.  The condo was nice and clean.

As advertised, this is an older resort so don't expect luxury features  but one that is clean and comfortable. Located next to the Highway, it was easy to get to get around, especially to WalMart.

Nice amenities like heated pool, playground and barbeques, games for children. Can even borrow sleds for White Sands NM.

Made for a good, comfortable base to explore the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Pretty Good Ruidoso Resort

The condos have everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are clean and in perfect condition. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a TV in each room. The programming is limited to basic cable. I would recommend replacing the TV's with smart TV's so guest can cast their own app programming. The beds are comfortable but the bed sheets need replacement. The tub needs replacement too. The heaters heat the rooms very quick and maintain the condo very warm which is very nice.

Wonderful Stay

Every single member of the staff whom we interacted with was incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable for the area, and extremely pleasant.  EVERY SINGLE ONE!!  We were especially pleased that Pinecliiff Village allows dogs which made it perfect for us.  the pool is nice and its water temperature was just right.  the place is "old style", but everything is kept up very well, and we had a wonderful unit to stay in.  Lots to do nearby with the town of Ruidoso and the surrounding mountain areas.  We were very, very pleased with our stay there.

Just what We Needed

We are timeshare owners at Pinecliff Village. There has never been a better time to be a guest or owner at this facility. The staff is far better than its ever been before, and the units are clean and comfortable. This has been our "go to" place for relaxation, and there's no reason to believe that will change. We highly recommend Pinecliff Village to anyone seeking a wonderful/fun/relaxing weekend, week, or any other sort of getaway.

Always a wonderful time in Ruidoso, New Mexico

We enjoyed our stay. It is an older place. The bathroom is tight, it's hard to use for big & tall people. Kitchen is not roomy. The beds where hard in the 2 room unit we stayed in downstairs.  The staff was all very friendly and helpful (we talked to at least 4/5 different people). I received an email that stated that they are rustic. 
They are dated and rustic but they are not shady about it, they do not deny it at all. I would stay again. For someone like me, that's used to tent camping for a month at a time most of my life, this is pretty nice. Lol

Rustic but nice...

This property was a nice little spot off the main Highway, that was actually very quiet.  The room we had offered a great view, and we had the opportunity to see the local wild horses come through the porperty.The only downside to this property was the Shower and Bed. The shower head was only up to my chest, I'm 6'4". My wife is 5'4" and it was also low for her, spraying only as high up as her neck. The bed was very firm and very low to the ground. Overall the property was very clean and maintained. The office staff was very friendly and courteous.

It's an older property but pleasant enough.  The front desk person was wonderful.  The unit was roomy and beds comfortable.  There wasn't a tv in the main bedroom.  The second bedroom had twin beds and a small fat-back tv--not sure if it worked.  The exercise room is really not worth visiting.  I don't think they should advertise that they have one.  It has a treadmill and stationary bike is what I read. Decided not worth checking on.  The positives outweighed the negatives and we would stay there again.

There's a lot to like about Pinecliff Village; the staff is friendly and having so much space to roam around during your stay is refreshing. The price for my stay was also very reasonable as well for booking only a week out. The staff is also very helpful, they were able to help me get a gas grill started and provide grilling tools. The pool was working with heated water too. Having a kitchenette is awesome while staying in Ruidoso because of the limited options to eat, especially at night.As for what I didn't like, well the worst thing is the location. Normally, being adjacent to Highway 70 is a good thing, but at night you can hear all of the vehicles driving by at 60 plus miles per hour. I guess the walls aren't very insulated. In addition to that, my brother did find some human hair in the folding bed, which bothered him a bit as he had to clean it off himself. I also found the towels to be lacking as well because they were thin and showing their age. Overall, my family and I were satisfied with our stay, but there is room for improvement.

Good, but not great accommodations in Ruidoso, NM

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed something in more quantity they gave us more. Also our dishwasher needed repair and they quickly responded. Angelica was very nice, took the time to talk to me and was helpful. The Village was easy to find - right off of hwy 70. The rooms were spacious. The beds and sofa were comfortable. The grounds were clean. There were many pine trees making the grounds picturesque. There are grills for use, an indoor swimming pool and a playground for the children.
