Host sent instructions for entry to condo via text message, texted back our request for down stair unit and was graciously moved to another unit.  Condo was well furnished, clean and fully equipped.  Par three golf course was in great shape even though it had been recently aerated.  Overall wonderful experience.

The resort is in a nice location, just outside of town but convenient.  The town was busy so it was nice to be away from the traffic.  The unit was very well equipped, there was even a crockpot in the kitchen.  We had a slight problem with the toilet in the master bathroom and it was taken care of quickly.  We found the bed in the master bedroom a bit too soft for us, but were fine sleeping in the other bedroom. The pool was not open when we were there so we don't know what that was like. We went to White Sands and to the Sunspot observatory, both about 1 hour drive away.  

The unit was great, elk, deer and wildlife all around.  The staff was most helpful and responsive to our needs.  The resort was in a nice location in town, next to golf course and close to Albertson's and Lincoln National Forest. 

The bad reviews are from people who thought they were renting a chalet in the Hamptons.  Seriously?  Come on, people.  Think of this place as a cabin kind of accomodation.  Yes, the furniture is a bit dated.  Yes, it's an older facility.  YES, it's clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and convenient to the local attractions.  You'll enjoy it.  

Dana bailed us out after a "friend" sold us their weekly timeshare - only to find out they hand't paid their dues.  Thank you, Dana!  We had a great stay.  Comfortable beds, and a great location.

Great value  great location, clean, spacious. Only negative was weather and who can control that. Tv in both b edrooms as well as great room. Efficient wi fi proximity to restaurants and shopping was great yet still quiet and peaceful

We stayed the week of December 14-21. the weather was great, the cabin was well equipped. We just had to bring in food! Very clean, plenty of extra blankets if needed, good size tv's, the grill right outside the back porch is great! we especially loved the porch in the mornings and late afternoon. The location is very good, close to a grocery store, and a good location to leave to go skiing.  Good communication with the property manager, we checked in late and left the heater on and lights out for us. Very much appreciated. Thank you.

Great resort.  Love the amenties.  The golf was fabulous.  Love the swimming and tennis court.  This resort is very convenient to shopping, downtown, and restaurants.   This is one of my favorite resorts that we have stayed with RCI because of the nine hole golf course.


I visited my family there last weekend.  Thay have a chalet on a quiet lake.  We boated on lake Aspen, it was a bit brisk for swimming but tries it anyway.  So quiet with no gas motors permitted.  On their small lake I caught A rather large Bluegill on my fly rod.  The area is full of wild life and a very welcome retreat.

The condo we rented (#47) was beautiful and well maintained.
One thing I'm very disappointed in is the Trout fishing pond - It was very dirty and over 30 dead fish floating around down by the little water fall and a lot of trash floating around.  I would not allow my kids to fish.  The grounds people do a fantastic job with the golf course grounds - but someone needs to figure out why the fish are dead and clean the pond and clean out the trash.

We stayed in Condo 230 & I think housekeeping skipped putting clean sheets on the beds on the 3rd floor, as one of the twin beds had a used bandaid in it & the King bed did not have clean sheets, so we had to do laundry before going to bed.  There also was a hole in back of the bathtub.  There was a big pile of hair in the floor next to one of the queen beds on the 2nd floor.  The one good thing was that the neighbors were really nice.  The pool was nice but we couldn't enjoy ourselves for being chastised by the maintenance people for having swim races form one end of the pool to the other & throwing a small ball around.  It wasn't suppose to close until 8 pm, but at 7 pm they started putting all the chairs up & telling us we couldn't jump in the 9 ft pool.  No one was trying to dive in or be rambunctious.  Will not be staying at this place again.
