All around wonderful property, area, and the host was beyond wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality!

Classy, quiet and relaxing inn located in a beautiful residential neighborhood.  Would definitely recommend this place and will be staying there again next time we visit the area.

The hostess Denis was amazing and kind,  the place was superb, clean, beautiful and so quiet. Our wake up was delicious with the view of beautiful deers just under our windows, the views arrownd the place are amazing and everything eas so peaceful. Impressively beautiful.

This Inn was amazing.  So pretty, beautifully decorated inside and outside and the bed was perfect!  The owner greeted us at our car, like we were family coming to visit.  Highly recommend Hope's Inn.

The Hope Inn was exceptional in every way. The inn itself was warm, welcoming and impeccably decorated. Super clean. The owners welcomed us and explained how everything worked. They gave us great recommendations for things to do in Redding and great restaurants. The location was close to everything. The grounds were stunning. When we came back at night the grounds were sparkling with twinkling lights. It was magical. I cannot say enough about how much we loved our time at the Hope Inn!!

We had a lovely time here in January 2023 for our anniversary. The house was quiet and comfortable, and everything was perfect! For less than the price of a luxury hotel room, you can get so much more at Hope Inn.

It requires two hundred characters but that's all we have to say!

Everything in and around the property is beautiful. You can tell a lot of love and care has been put into it. Definitely a place we'd come back to if we need to stay in Redding!

The owner of the property is very organized and highly motivated to make this a delightful stay.  Our room , The Vineyard, was well-appointed  with a lovely large bathroom.  The room itself is a bit cramped for two travelers and their  luggage.  When we got out of our car the air in Redding was acidic and smoky.  I mentioned to Denise that we would have appreciated knowing in advance that breathing would be unpleasant and difficult as I suffer from severe headaches under these circumstances.  Fortunately, the winds changed and the smoky air disappeared.  We enjoyed the rest of our stay and particularly liked the lovely morning views from the terrace.

Hope Inn - Redding CA

If I could give this property 10 stars, I would.  The grounds are immaculate, the house and room are well appointed, roomy and very comfortable.  The owners have put much effort into every detail and it shows.   Easy check-in, friendly and responsive owners.  Close to everything in Redding, yet the property is in a residential area.  I highly recommend this property. 

Absolutely Wonderful Property 

This is a beautiful place to stay.  We were on our way from SF to Crater Lake so stopped here to break up the drive.  And we are SO glad we did!

We stayed in the Vineyard Room which is spacious and beautiful.  The bathroom had a huge shower, bathrobes and again, lots of space.
The bed is big and comfortable.  There are chairs to sit in and windows looking out to the stunning gardens.  All amenities are available in the room - fridge, toiletries, coffee maker, lots of hanger space .

The bedrooms are centred around a shared sitting area and a shared kitchen.  But if you're shy, you don't need to come out of your room.  

Everything is immaculately clean, there is shaded parking (a bonus when it's over 100 outside). 

Entrance is through a door code.  We had a really nice stay here and found it excellent value for money. 

Beautiful, Clean, Good Value

We only had one brief night to stay in Redding, but after seeing the Hope Inn we wish we had more time.  It was such a beautiful place.  The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated.  
We never met our hosts because we arrived late, but communication before and after our stay was friendly, helpful and complete.  
If we're ever in the area again we will definitely be back.

Our home away from home (if we could afford any home).

Like previous guest reviewers we were hesitant to share this wonderful find, but ultimately we realized this was a self-serving attitude and did not honor our hosts who have created a unique oasis for travelers. We stayed in the Safari Room on the first floor on our way from Corvallis, Oregon to Santa Cruz, CA and had such a wonderful visit that we booked the Royal Shasta Room upstairs on our way home. The opulence of this room cannot be overstated. Future guests need to treat themselves to this special experience.  A big plus: the  mattresses, bedding, and pillows are super plush, and gave us a great night's sleep coming and going in our travels. The hosts gave us all the information we needed for a seamless check-in and check-out. Thank you, Denise, for your gracious communications throughout the booking process and for your warm welcome to the Hope Inn. We quickly felt like you were an old friend and one we want to return to see often.  Best thoughts, Denise and Terrance

I loved staying at Hope Inn!  I came for business in the area and booked it because of the 4 poster beds.  When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner and shown around the Inn.  It was decorated beautifully for Christmas with little cozy touches everywhere.  When I saw the Shasta suite, I fell in love and upgraded to that room.  Even though it was a business trip, I felt pampered by the beautiful tub and shower, comfy bed, cozy throws and even a Christmas tree in my room!  I will definitely return for a weekend getaway with my husband!

Wonderful Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We stayed in the safari room for 2 nights. The room is on the ground floor with great natural light. The room is clean and bed is very comfortable. You can tell the owners have put a lot of effort decorating the room and we even got some inspiration for our future house. Denise is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

Staying at Hope Inn was a fantastic start to our vacation. The owners are really special people who have put their hearts into this beautiful and peaceful retreat. Our room was incredibly comfortable and clean and we loved having the common kitchen available to make our breakfast in the morning. You will find pieces of decor around Hope Inn that the owners have brought back from their years of living Africa! If you have time, ask them about their adventures there!The grounds are lovely. Nice large lawn area, plenty of seating areas, fountains and trees. Hope Inn would be an AMAZING place for a family gathering!
