Had everything i needed. Hot tub was a neat feature as well. Overall great experience. Would stay there again.

Such an adorable, 60s kitsch motel. Conveniently located close to both downtown and to red lodge mountain. Hot tub and steam bath were wonderful after a long day of skiing. A great budget friendly option. Owner was very nice. Excellent coffee in the lobby.

Always our fav spot to stay (if we plan ahead enough to be able to get a reservation!)!  As the sign out front says “groovy and not corporate!” PERFECT description! Clean and cozy and the folks that run it are the best! Added bonus is the hot tub out back!

The Yodeler is the only place I'll stay in Red Lodge! I've been there many times and it's location, service and people keep me coming back! The next time you are in a pinch or looking for a long term stay don't forget to stay local! 

As always, the Yodeler and staff are great! We've had another great stay there. It's always our go-to place to stay in Red Lodge, especially with our two dogs. It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfy with a laid-back atmosphere.

The BEST place to stay in Red Lodge.  We visit 4-5 times a year and the Yodeler is our go to.  Spotless rooms and the owners are top notch. The outdoor hot tub feels wonderful after a day on the slopes.  It is an easy 5 minute walk to all the eating, drinking, and local shops.   

You can't beat the location of the Yodeler Motel. The staff at the Yodeler were very helpful, jovial and exceeded our expectations. We had to make a last minute change and they were happy to accommodate. My family and I look forward to visiting the Yodeler in the future.

Clean & comfortable room on the upper level.  Enjoyed the small front deck area off the room.  Great space if your in area to ski or visit Yellowstone. Owner was helpful & happy to make recommendations for activities & restaurants.  Definitely try to stay here!

We spent the night in room 23 after having enjoyed driving the beautiful Beartooth Highway!
Tulsa, the owner, greeted us during a heavy down poor; she could not have been any nicer! All the upstairs rooms have a small porch facing the main road (which was very quiet at night) and we brought the dining chairs on the porch to sit and enjoy an adult beverage.
The room has a front door and a back door (the one with the porch and the back one to the parking lot, so we were able to create a nice cross breeze when we didn't have the A/C on (which worked great!)
The room was very spacious and super clean, as well as very practical. The bathroom is a bit tight, but has a steam shower, which I enjoyed. 
Microwave, fridge with freezer and coffee maker are in the room, the ice maker is in the lobby which closes at night.
The hotel is decorated in a ski theme and every room is different. It is also a dog friendly place and very centrally located to downtown (five minute walk, if that).
We can't wait to go back to Red Lodge and stay at the Yodeler again!

We stay here every time we visit Red Lodge. Locally owned and operated. 
Super cool, historic, Bavarian-style lodge. Awesome steam showers in the room and hot tub on property. Wonderful after a long day adventuring.
Comfortable, clean and dog friendly. Walking distance to town for some dinner and drinks. The ski area is super close as well.

LOVE the Yodeler!

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Yodeler before, with my favorite part being the steam showers, and have always enjoyed my stay. More recently, I had to make a very last minute change to my reservation and the owner was more than willing to help accommodate me. He was very pleasant on the phone, and made me look forward to staying with them in the future.

Kind and Easy to Work with Management

Planned to stay at the Yodeler for two nights and do some skiing at Red Lodge Mtn.  We arrived earlier than planned and they let us check in early.  We threw our luggage in the room, changed into our ski gear, and headed up to the ski hill.  Sadly high winds closed down the ski slope just after we arrived and were expected to stay bad for the next 24 hours.   We returned to the Yodeler and Mac the owner was surprised to see us so soon.  He said this is the worst snow conditions in 30 plus years.  We  told him the forecast and he offered to refund our money for the hotel.  He also gave us tips on other downhill skiing options in Montana.  He was amazingly accommodating.  We have stayed there in the past and love the atmosphere and décor.  We plan to stay there again in the future.  We came back and skied the fresh powder at Red Lodge Mtn the following week on our way home.  We'll be back next year!! 

I totally recommend the Yodeler Motel summer or winter!!  The owner and staff are very friendly and will help you make the most of your stay.

Extremely generous owners!!

I didn’t actually make it to Yodeler Motel due to a snow storm. I had to cancel my reservation at the last minute and Mac, the owner, was so nice and understanding and didn’t charge me the cancellation fee. I choose this hotel because it looked cute,  charming,  was the right price and had good reviews. I will definitely rebook this trip and look forward to my stay! Thank you Mac!

Nice owners!!

The Yodeler maintains a vintage charm while offering a clean, comfortable stay for hikers, bikers, skiiers or whoever passes by. I stayed there in August 2021 with my dad on our way to the Beartooth Mtns. The husband and wife owners were welcoming and helpful, and they are clearly hands-on in running the motel. The room provided plenty of space, with some nice conveniences (mini fridge, reliable WiFi). I just regret that I didn’t get a chance to try the steam shower! Next time…

Clean, easy, hassle-free

This is a really special Motel!  The attention to detail and hard work that goes into a property like this is incredible.  From the lobby to the lawns it is hands down the most adorable well maintained property we have stayed at.  Red Lodge is such a great town and they must be proud of the Yodeler.  It fits right in, and the owner (Mack) is very friendly.  We were blessed to have been able to find a room here and experience the Yodeler.  Our room we called the "Bridger Room".  All pictures are from Bridger Bowl Montana, which it turns out that is where our son was married. 

Again, look no further.  If they have a vacancy book it!!  Such a great experience and home base to ski Red Lodge or come in the summer and enjoy everything Red Lodge has to offer.  I don't know why you wouldn't...
