Great place to stay for skiing and visiting downtown. The pool and hot tub were great. My husband and I are from Texas and we were driving across ski states for skiing and sightseeing. Red Lodge, Montana is beautiful and the skiing at the mountain was fun an convenient. We had everything we needed and they shoveled the snow for us in the morning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Aspen.  The manager and her dog were a breath of fresh air.  The facilities were exactly what we needed, conveniently located and comfortable to stay in. The town itself is a tourist attraction, but the area has plenty to offer as well.

Very small resort, about a mile out of town. 10 units. 2 quad buildings and a duplex that looks much newer. It sits right on the golf course, by the 9th hole. Near the condo, they have homes in the area that are all the same, like a development, and then the newer development by the golf course has all different homes, and many open lots.

Check in was easy. I could have checked in later, but made it here by 8 PM. The unit is nice and spacious. It is older, but in good shape. They had all the amenities I would expect like appliances. The refrigerator was full size as were the stove and oven. There was a little patio area with a picnic table, a couple of plastic chairs, and a gas grill for each unit. That is a great feature. There was a gas fireplace and electric baseboard heat. There is no air conditioning, but looking at the average lows for the year, that is not a problem here. They do have a fan you can use. It was one bedroom with a queen size bed, but the loft had a second queen size bed and bathroom, so it was more like a 2 bedroom. The couch was a hide a bed, so you could easily sleep 6 with some privacy. RCI indicated the pool and hot tub were closed until May 2021, but that was not the case. Because of COVID, they had pool sign up sheet so there was only one unit in there at a time. That was a lot better option to me than closing the pool, like other places that I have stayed. The pool was nice as was the hot tub. There is a little exercise and game area in the pool building, which also attaches to the office. I was told it was crowded before Labor Day, but this week I was the only one in my building for the first few days. The other quad building has 3 of the 4 filled, and I noticed one of the new buildings occupied on Saturday.

The WiFi is free, but I was in unit 8, which is the furthest from the office, and therefore, the WiFi is poor. I got better results using my phone as a hot spot. I did walk around and check, and you can get a much better signal if you sit outside the office or in the pool area, but the pool building was very humid. It also was a stronger signal outside the other buildings. My guess is they have one router, and could really improve things with a couple of repeaters.

The condo had lots of wood furniture, but I did not see any coasters. I also did not notice water ring marks on the furniture, but a set of coasters would be a good idea. They did have a few plastic bowls that could be used for storage, as well as some plastic bags. They had a coffee pot and coffee filters, but no starter pack of coffee. That would be a nice addition for people that get in late and do not have a chance to shop. For check out procedures, they want you to strip the bed and start the load of linen in the washer. That is a bit different, but makes a lot of sense. The washer and dryers are right in the unit, and they have laundry detergent provided. The dishes in the dishwasher and starting the cycle is typical of other places. They had liquid hand soap in the bathroom and the kitchen which was also a nice feature. The unit was very dark when I got there and light switches were not exactly where I expected to find them. A couple of illuminated light switches or night lights would help. The in room guide was very handy. It contained information about the history of the area, a historical walking map of downtown, and a few menus from local restaurants.

The curbing around the unit is built up so a low clearance car may have trouble not bottoming out when trying to park. It is angled, but is still the full curb and not cut down like a driveway.

There is a lot of wildlife around the area. I saw deer right outside my patio, and all around the golf course. There was some bear sign up towards the North end of the golf course.

There is a lot to do in the area. Several shops and restaurants downtown, as well as one grocery store, and a few 24X7 convenience stores and gas stations. Of the 3 gas stations I found in town, one had prices the same as Billings, and 2 were more expensive. Costco in Billings was only a few cents cheaper than other stations in Billings, so it was not worth the extra stop. There are plenty of places to get out and see nature. Hiking and mountain biking are popular in the area, as well as horse rides on the trails, and camping. The drive to Yellowstone is also very nice, but is seasonal.

Our second time on this resort.  This time we stayed at the 3 bedroom unit and it was beautifully done.  Only thing I would change is the master bathroom layout.  It has a shared toilet and shower with the other bedroom.  I wish it was private bath.  Everything else is very comfortable and has that log cabin feel.  The located is quiet and just a short drive to the town.  The drive to Beartooth and Yellowstone is the reason we love it here.

Very comfortable stay in spacious condo with beautiful surroundings and views,  Close proximity to the town of Red Lodge and an easy drive to Red Lodge Mountain Resort.  Condo privledges include heated indoor pool and hot tub though we did not avail ourselves of these offerings, 

We loved our stay at Aspen Townhomes.  The unit was spacious, clean and well maintained. We had a great view of the mountains and wildlife was in the area.  The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Conveniently located to the town of Red Lodge and skiing at Red Lodge Mountain. I would recommend this resort for summer or winter stays.  

The only thing I would love is that at least one of the beds be king size. 
The new 3 bedroom "home" is very comfortable and beautiful.  We were there for Christmas and the owner had installed a decorated tree and other decorations. It felt better than being home for the holiday.

Relaxing vacation on golf course.  Well maintained unit.  About 2 hours from NE entrance to Yellowstone Park and 4 hours to Old Faithful area.  Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked for our needs.

If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway with beautiful views and location close to many attractions in Montana, this is a really nice place to stay.  We stayed in the newer condos which have three bedrooms.  Since I wasn't in the other condos, I don't know if they also have great views.  In the one we stayed (18), there is a fireplace in the living room, a nice sized dining table for six, and just out the front is a wonderful view of the mountains.  The small kitchen has a stove/oven, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and a crock pot.  The kitchen has a bar height counter on the dining room side that has two bar stools for extra seating.  This unit is located in a Golf Course, and the hole 9 (I think) tee off is about 100 feet to the left of the front door and the golf club where you get carts is at the end of that hole.  My husband enjoys the course-but it can be tricky.  There are lots of water hazards and trees.  I walk it with him for the view.  You will see deer and rabbits out your window every day.  There is an indoor pool and hot tub in the club house, and in the loft area of the pool is some exercise equipment and a foosball table.  We didn't try the equipment but did enjoy the pool and hot tub.  The office manager was very nice and has been working on updating things in the condos.  The internet isn't always the best but she is working on that too.  We are looking forward to returning next year!  

Yellowstone park is about two hours drive through the Beartooth pass (when it is open).  If you stay on the road that goes through Red Lodge, that becomes the Beartooth Hwy and will take you through the pass.  Cody is an hour if you go through Red Lodge and take a left at the gas station where you see the sign for Belfry (when you hit Belfy, take a right and that road takes you straight to Cody).  If you want to go to Livingston and Bozeman, take a right on Hwy 78 (You had to come on it to get to Country Club Drive).  Go through Columbus and get to Hwy 90 and take a left.  Of course, Billings is just an hour away.  There is an IGA grocery store in Red Lodge that has great meat and bread, plus a RedBox for DVD rentals (the condo unit has a dvd player).  Some groceries can be pricey so just look for the sale prices-those are always good.  There is a Walmart in Laurel where you can shop on the way if you are coming from Billings, and you can get to the condo in 45 minutes from there.  These units are not fancy, but they sure are nice!

Handicap accessible 3 bedroom condo that was well furnished.  Plenty of room for 6.  3rd bedroom and bath upstairs.  Condo had high ceilings with gas fireplace.  On golf course.  Across parking area was pool/jacuzzi.  This is a very small timeshare facility ... eight 2 bedroom units and two 3 bedroom units.  Perfect location for x-country ski trails, snow shoeing on the golf course.  20 minutes from ski resort, 5 minutes to town of Red Lodge.  Our family of 6 totally enjoyed the area and skiing everyday.  Kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals including a large crockpot .

Great little resort on the golf course

Close to the city of Red Lodge and the Beartooth Pass mountains. About hour and half drive to northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Beautiful drive!  Always check weather and road conditions before setting out for the parks. Good selection of eating establishments in Red Lodge. Prices higher than normal. Poor cellphone service. More information regarding local area attractions and hikes needed. Otherwise, a wonderful vacation area!

Great down-time lodging with a beautiful view

This resort is all you need for a home base to enjoy the area.  We used it while we were skiing.  The unit was clean, but a little dated and worn looking, which doesn't bother me too bad as long as it's clean. Red Lodge is a quiet little town with not a lot going on after dark. That being said, we would definitely stay here again.

Great 3 bedroom condo at Red Lodge

The condo was great, the electrical heater worked almost too well. The only thing that didn't work was the fireplace. Amazing hot water with great pressure. Comfortable beds and all the things you need in the kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay.
