I don't have any complaints about my stay. Here are the positives:1. The room and common areas were clean.2. The staff was friendly and efficient.3. The WiFi was solid.4. This is a pet-free hotel. I have had experiences at other hotels where the pet owner leaves the dog in the room, and the dog barks for an extended period of time.I would stay here again

Exceptionally clean.  Old school motel rooms but very newly remodeled. Very comfortable. Great value.

When I checked and I was greeted with a warm smile. The room was clean and well-appointed with refrigerator and microwave. I will definitely be returning here again.

Staff was very friendly. Room clean and comfortable. Haven’t stayed in a room with an actual key in a long time . Not a big deal was nice nostalgia.

My husband (age 75) and I (70) spent the night at the Lincoln host motor Inn as our final stop in cross country trip. This hotel offers few amenities; there’s no pool or workout room, there’s no lounge or on site restaurant. However, this apparently locally owned motel is an unsung gem in the Escanaba area. We booked a room with a king size bed. In addition, we had a sofa, lounge chair, a table with three chairs for dining, a flatscreen TV, a microwave, small refrigerator, sink, and real plates, dishes, flatware, glassware to accommodate 4 to 6 people. Oh, and also there was a drip coffee maker. The bathroom was adequately appointed with the largest and most ample supply of towels we’ve had in a long time. But what stood out to us about this small hotel is that the room was so clean.  As I told someone else if I had to lick the floor, I would not have been scared. It was spotless. Very quiet, very comfortable, nondescript, but a great place to lay our heads before our final push to our destination. I would highly recommend this for just an overnight stop  And a safe quiet clean place to stay.

Super Clean and Comfortable

The check in was quick and efficient.  We got all the information we needed such as the WiFi password.  The room was clean and on the backside of the property which made it quieter....away from the highway traffic.  The only thing I would have liked to see was no carpeting in the room.  I always think a room is cleaner with laminate flooring.

Very good value for the money.  The room was clean the furniture was good looking and not as it were from the Salvation Army store.  Even though it is on main street, it is hard to even notice the place while driving past it.  I have driven past it for six or seven years now, and never even knew it was there.

No frills, but squeaky clean and friendly front desk staff. We were looking for a place at the last minute as we were driving and came across this.  Called and were able to get the last available room- the UP state fair was in progress just up the road.  We would stay here again.  Very positive experience!

Last minute stay in Escanaba

Big surprise and a delightful one. This place was highly recommended to us by dear friends in traverse city and we thought, why not.  This, after paying $200 a night and more for very average to poor accommodations. 
What a great find. Real “Ma and Pa” with no surprises, clean, lovely, big room with the King Bed we asked for. No breakfast but we had cereal and a fridge for milk. 
Great little find. We highly recommend it.

SUPER and Inexpensive

The Lincoln is very clean and comfortable, but also very basic. We were looking for an affordable place to stay and The Lincoln is definitely agreat deal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpfull. We had several questions about the area and they went out of their way to get us all the info we were looking for. The location is right on the state highway and very convenient.

Very friendly staff and clean room. Although there’s a sign at the property, we ended up driving right by; the building entrance is not obvious. Room AC is loud. Something on offer for breakfast would be a nice addition, but we knew going in that they didn’t provide anything. Coffee is in the lobby, not the rooms. But certainly an adequate spot to stay.

A very nice place to stay if all your looking for is a clean, comfortable place to spend the night. Since that was exactly what we were looking for, it was perfect for us.  Our room had a microwave and refrigerator, a comfortable bed, and was spotless. Should the occasion arise, we would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place to stay.  Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.  The entire property was spotless!  Rooms were very comfortable.  A/C worked great even on hot days.  Walking distance to several good restaurants and lots of fast food chain restaurants.  Would stay here again without any hesitation.
