5 reviewsThis is a converted house. It is like visiting friends or relatives and the hosts made me feel welcome. My stay was not without issues, but I would stay there again. The price was reasonable. I was put in a basement room, and the tv (direct tv) was in a shared area. Perfect for a small family who want privacy. Since I was the only one there, it was not an issue to walk through a different bedroom to go to the bathroom. The room was too cold, but the owner did provide a portable heater and I wore extra clothes. The view was excellent, but I did have to go upstairs to go on the patio. The price was reasonable, but I did not realize it was cash only till the owner made me aware of it. The driveway was steep and for the life of me, can not figure how he would park more than a couple of cars there. He said he can book up to 16 people there. There is no room for 16 cars. There is a movie theater close by as well as restaurants and Walmart. Not far from downtown. Next to a National Forest, it was very quiet. He said he feed wild havalinas (pigs) in the morning, but they didn't show up while I was there. I plan to visit again, but not until it is warmer.
