We came to Port A for Sandfest 2025.  This hotel was a perfect location.  Basically, right on the beach and not far from the entrance to SandFest.  Our room was spacious.  2 queen beds. Comfortable mattresses.  4 pillows on each bed! YAH! mini-fridge.  bar/table that ran the length of the room.  Large bathroom with a Walkin shower! Decent water pressure. Best thing- room service and clean towel delivered every day we were there! (4 days) limited breakfast items offered in the office but no sitting area.  Hotel was recently painted.  Everything was very clean.Humidifier in the room and the AC worked great! Really enjoyed out stay.  I would stay there again!

Everything was good. 3 min walk from the beach. Swimming pool was well kept. Only thing was the limited parking by our room and construction going on during our stay.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a gentleman in the front office, who was super nice made our check in super easy and convenient. their rooms were clean, just as pictured super close to the beach. I definitely recommend and will rebook when visiting portA.

Staff was friendly. Room was perfect. Located right on the beach. This will be our new tradition when visiting Port Aransas.

We were offered a free upgrade which was absolutely fantastic! The staff is so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here. Super close to the beach and all the places to eat and drink. If you stay here you will never want to stay anywhere else 😊

Cute place- great location!

The place was very modern and clean. Lighting was very bright in all the rooms. A small over head lamp would suffice in the living room, for reading. The kitchen supply was enough for a couple and was missing small appliances for breakfast. A toaster perhaps and a can opener would have made a big difference. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, lack of communication occurred while we were in desperate need of ice. The ice room had been painted and no one was allowed inside. We had to buy from the nearest convenience store. Overall, parking was great between the pool and the building. Great walking distance to the beach, for sure. No elevators so, if you rent a room with a kitchen, don't bring too much to haul!

Modern & Beachy!

We had four rooms and the front desk did a great job at accomadating us. They got us rooms all next to each other and even though we checked in early they worked their quickest to get all rooms ready. The rooms smelt great and were very beautiful on the inside. Though their dining area was closed they did have a few quick grab breakfast items. Our groups only notice was that the tile work could use some fixing in the bathrooms as some rooms had some loose tiles. Overall a great stay with wonderful customer service and a wonderful location.

This was a fantastic location to walk right out to the beach! The recommendation to Gulf Carts was helpful. We booked the family unit and expected the kids to sleep on the sofa beds but they fell in love with the twin bed room. The sofa beds were not at all comfortable but when we were leaving, they told us these are being replaced early 2025. Also note, there is no elevator so if you can't climb stairs, request a first floor unit. View from 3rd floor deck is worth the climb.

Great Location

Aside from a few things, the room was great and comfortable, and the beach access was great. We have never traveled with our dogs, so when we found a hotel advertised as dog-friendly, we thought it wouldn't be much of a hassle. The hotel will charge you $50 per pet, which hotels.com does not specify; they just specify a $50 fee. Not all the rooms are pet-friendly, so you need to call the hotel in advance and specify you want pet-friendly rooms.

Great hotel and beach access

Seaside Boutique has been the perfect place for us to stay in Port A. The staff was very accommodating, keys have been lost on the beach,  towels replaced. Nancy made us feel like home with her sweet disposition and genuine care. Jeremy was also very helpful, kind and professional.I couldn't have asked for a better beach experience. A minute walk from the beach, continental breakfast...I'm hesitant to post this review only because I want to keep this gem to myself and for rooms to always be available for me in the future.

Yes Please

My cousin and I had a wonderful experience at Seaside.  Nancy, the Manager, and Chris, the morning staff, were kind, accommodating and went above and beyond with good service and excellent breakfast options. Our room was clean and the mattresses and pillows were so comfortable. Could not have asked for more and the price was very reasonable. Will be going back very soon!

A gem at the Gulf

I had a great time! I could t have asked for a better location. We just walked to the beach in less than 5 minutes from door to water. Clean rooms and friendly service. I would suggest bringing a towel or rug to lay on the floor to clean the sand off your feet before entering the room. It’s tile floor (easier to clean) but it gets sandy. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent

We have stayed at the Seaside Motel every single year for the past 15 years. We've seen management change over time, but we've always stayed on the back side in a king room and have built traditions there with ourselves and the two different dogs we've had in the course of those years. Our best friends and their little dog have gone with us now for the past four years as well. While it's what we like to call "just a cheap motel," it's so much more than that. The little fridge and microwave make creating a "kitchenette" possible and saves some money on eating out. There's also a vibe amongst the folks who stay there that is really welcoming and laid back.

I've been coming to Port A since I was a child and I'm now 53 years old. My mom always had us stay at one of the little free-standing cottages on "G" street, but we had to drive down to the beach every day... The Seaside allows us to walk down, return to the room by foot when we need something we forgot or to use our own restroom, etc. It's super convenient. They also keep bags of ice for sale in the lobby, which is really convenient.

We don't really like to tell many people about the Seaside because we want to keep it affordable and funky and available to us when we want to go there! But, today, Hurricane Harvey is bearing down and I wanted to write this as my heartfelt missive that it survives this storm so we can continue to go there for the next 15 years and beyond!!!

Easy beach access for people and pets!

The service was good, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were cleaned. The only ‘bad’ thing about it was that the room smell very strongly like the cleaning products.
