Clean and friendly staff..close to highway, it was quiet for the most part but I could see it being an issue for some but not me.. Walmart, a dollar store and gas stations close by

Agree with other reviews that this is a nice  little hidden gem. Staff was friendly room was clean. Definitely would stay here again. Continental breakfast wasn’t much, but they had coffee and juice available early.

My stay here with my Wife was great front desk employee was nice n helpful room was very clean and comfortable iwill be back i highly recommend this as a first choice to stay wen traveling to picayune

Friendly and helpful staff.  Wonderful room. Free breakfast was slices of white, a squeeze bottle of butter, coffee and an orange drink.  No eggs, no donuts, no jelly, no artificial sweeteners, no liquid creamer, no cereal, no sausage, no bacon. No waffle maker, no bagels,  Very odd.  But great room and great staff!

Very quiet, easy access from highway, friendly staff!

We were very pleasantly surprised by this little hotel! It’s right off the highway and very quiet. Not far from New Orleans or the Mississippi Gulf Coast for some fun. The person working at the desk was so friendly and kind. The room was pleasant and clean. No complaints!

I was able to book last minute and check in early. The room was quiet and the bed was super comfy.

Exceptional services! The room were very clean and the lobby was very clean,floors shining no dust very warm and cozy and very inviting.

Great room, friendly staff.  No free breakfast!

My family has stayed here several times. It’s very affordable and clean. The free breakfast doesn’t have much, but I would rather pay the lower rate than other local hotels and get breakfast elsewhere if necessary. The staff here is excellent and friendly. It’s probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Before you book the place, make sure you book non-smoking. The non-smoking rooms are newly renovated. I stayed here for 2 nights. Richard our desk receptionist was awesome! He called to make sure that everything was ok and that I  would be coming to check-in. When I arrived at night, the parking and office areas were well lite with bright lights. They had cameras to monitor your safety. I had no issues with checking in. Everything they posted on the website is the same as what you see at the hotel. The room was very clean. It came with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine and tv. Since this was a quick business trip for me, I didn't mind that they didn't have a swimming pool or workout area. There's not a lot of amenities. I just needed a decent place to sleep. The only thing that I would recommend if you check in is, ask for a room that's not across from the elevator. My room was across from it so I heard everything. However, other than this problem I had, I would totally return to this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located around tons of fast food places, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, clothing stores, gas stations, and other small businesses.

last minute trip

We enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I really liked having a mini fridge and microwave in the room. It was a little warm in the room when we first got there, but the AC had it cool in no time. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed during Easter weekend. The staff went out of their way to make an Easter basket for our granddaughter. The staff was very kind and helpful. This is our second stay at this hotel and more than likely will stay here again the next time we visit the area. Thank you for all your help and the thoughtful gifts for our granddaughter.

Front desk staff was EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and helpful! Room was clean and very comfortable (A/C kept us very well cooled on a humid hot weekend). My wife and I travel often and have been more often disappointed than satisfied with accommodations. VERY satisfied with our stay and will definitely stay again when in the area.

Cannot say enough (good) about this hotel. Clean, safe and very accommodating staff. Have stayed here several times and will again when in the area. There is access to anything you may need, restaurants, shopping, etc… if you are looking for a new and modern hotel this may not be for you but if you want a clean environment, safety and courteous staff, definitely stay here.

The hotel and our room was very clean. It was cleaner than many of the higher rated hotels we have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only real complaint was how the room was stocked. There was only one bar of soap for the sink and the shower and it disintegrated quickly. There was only one coffee package and no creamer, sugar, or stirrer. Also only 2 towels. When asked we were provided additional items listed.

Very comfortable and convenient

E-Z on/off of IH-35. Convenient to several restaurants and fast food places.The "breakfast" consists of cereal or prepackaged cake doughnuts and weak coffee. Luckily, the low cost of the room offsets the cost of going out to a restaurant for it.The bed was firm and comfortable, but the pillows were too firm and I found myself turning them several times trying to soften them up. No luck with any of the 3 supplied. I did not sleep well. The staff were helpful when asked questions and smiled. This was nice.FYI - I requested an accessable room and I got one that was wheelchair easy. However, it had the standard tub/shower unit and was not a walk-in or roll-in. Not very accessable for bathing/showering.

I've stayed here twice, both times on the first floor of the new building, in a non-smoking room.

A tip on the in-room A/C unit: it uses a wall thermostat, not the controls in the unit. If you discover the unit will not cool when you lower the thermostat, try unplugging the unit and letting it reset for a minute. Then plug it in again, and the unit should cool marvelously. I had my room down from 78 F to 64 F in less than thirty minutes.

I found the room comfortable. I did not attempt to partake of any breakfast, as I bring my own when traveling. I noticed the room did have a coffeemaker.

On a side note, dinner recommendation beyond chain restaurants. If you like Chinese food or sushi, I recommend taking a chance on Ichiban located nearby. They offer dine-in or take-out. Their quality is above average and their prices are reasonable (~$10 or less per person for dine-in; $6/pound for take-out).
