The Hilton Garden Inn was a pleasant surprise! I was traveling with a friend for a doctor's appointment at Stanford Medical Center. The location close to Stanford was the reason for the booking. However, I wasn't anticipating the quality of stay or the service we received. Aniyah and Lee at the front desk made us feel as though we were staying with longtime friends in their private residence. Their advice on traffic, parking, and the medical center were dead on. They offered restaurant suggestions and ways to spend our down time. We were tired, so we ultimately chose to eat at the hotel. And it was good! Our server and bartender, Joe, was a pleasure and really very interesting. The spaghetti and meatballs were good and just what we needed. Our rooms were comfortable and quiet. Unfortunately, my friend will be returning to Stanford for future appointments. Fortunately, we have a great place to stay while we're there.
