Our first trip to Maine, and we completely lucked out in finding this beautiful B&B run by Linda and Ellen!  Their hospitality and knowledge of the area made our experience all the more special.  Breakfast, as was the coffee, was abundant and delicious, and we loved getting to know our hosts!  The house offers amazing amenities, like a sauna, hot tub and heated pool, and the room was spacious and nicely decorated, we really enjoyed sitting in the screened-in back porch to enjoy our morning coffee or evening wine.  We hope to definitely be back there again, and would highly recommend the Beauport Inn as a wonderful place to stay!


We've stayed at the Beauport Inn once a year for the last three years. I've heard that the person who built it in 2001 traveled extensively in Europe looking for ideas for the perfect B and B.  I like that he brought components back from Europe including stained glass, wood paneling, doors etc.  And what was built on site was carefully designed to create the look and feel of a French Chateau.  I love it.
The last time I was there I used the jacuzzi and sauna and enjoyed both.  I took a walk through the backyard, down the stairs and along the river.  Along the way I saw an eagle, ducks, and many other birds.
Although I consider the inn to be part of Ogunquit, Trip Advisor lists it under Cape Neddick Neddick, due to a quirk in geography.  The Inn is a mile or so from the center of Ogunquit (Maine Street shops, etc), but over six miles from the center of Cape Neddick/ York Beach.  So it's possible that people looking for a B & B in Ogunquit may miss out on this gem.

Our stay at The Beauport Inn in Ogunquit exceeded expectations. The suite we had was beautifully appointed with a particularly inviting queen bed, a toasty gas fireplace, and comfortable couches. The hot tub, sauna, and steam room were perfect treats after a long day walking Marginal Way. The innkeepers were lovely and accommodating and served quite the generous gourmet breakfast. If we head back to Ogunquit, we would definitely stay there again.

A great stay in the wonderful town of Ogunquit!  Even in the winter, it has it's own special charm.  The Innkeepers Linda and Ellen were great hosts, very friendly and helpful.  We stayed in one of the spacious rooms on the ground level with a view of the back of the inn, the pool and hot tub.  The room also has an outside screened area which would be fabulous in warmer weather.  Ellen served up a wonderful breakfast the two days we stayed, with more than enough to eat along with hot coffee and juice.  We hope to return again soon!

The Beauport Inn is terrific. Linda and Ellen, Innkeepers, are so warm and welcoming. They recommended Walkers for my birthday dinner and the food there was wonderful. Linda and Ellen had  left a beautifully wrapped box of handmade chocolates in our room. The Inn was built as a B&B in 2002 and has all the amenities. Steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. We stayed in the Rose Room. It was spacious with a couch, Keurig machine, Wi-Fi TV, sliding glass doors that led onto a  glass patio. All the rooms a very well appointed. The grounds are just so beautiful  The next morning breakfast was fresh fruit, warm sunny side eggs with ham, and blueberry pancakes - delicious. When in Ogunquit stay at the Beauport Inn - bed and breakfast.

We just returned from a lovely weekend at the Beauport Inn.  Driving up the long driveway we were eager to step into this beautiful home.  The impressive double doors were opened by the smiling, friendly host Linda.  She offered us a seat in the comfy parlor and we chatted for a few about the inn and surrounding area.  She asked if we had any food allergies and vowed to make us a gluten free breakfast.  Afterwards Linda took us to our room which was perfectly warm and inviting with everything we needed.  We also had our own personal screened in sunroom to enjoy the quiet outdoors.  Just so peaceful.  We were unable to stay for the sit-down breakfast so Linda was kind enough to package ours to go.  Delicious!  The Beauport is a lovely, quiet inn in Ogunquit.  A hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle.  Thank you Linda for a memorable stay!

A great choice for a weekend away in Ogunquit.  We stayed in one of the three spacious and very quiet rooms on the ground level. Breakfast was upstairs in a large welcoming open kitchen/family room.  Our hosts were wonderfully engaging and helpful.  We will be back one summer soon.

I would recommend this beautiful Inn for its 8 acres of solitude, a very short distance from town, and gracious, very friendly and kind hosts.  Our comfortable room had a gas fireplace, adjacent to outdoor hot tub and saunas. In season, there is a very nice swimming pool for guests, as well.  You won’t find that in town.

We had an amazing stay at the Beauport Inn!  We haven't frequented many b&b's, so we weren't sure what to expect for our anniversary weekend.  Linda and Ellen were the most gracious hosts and the Inn and grounds far exceeded our expectations.  The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious.  The saunas, hot tub and pool were an added bonus- as well as the screened in porch.  We loved how close it was to town, but secluded enough to be away from the crowds.  Linda and Ellen cooked a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit and Maine blueberry french toast, and made us feel very comfortable with the other guest (who were also a pleasure to be around).  They went above and beyond- giving us a tour of the house, showing us their  rescue birds, as well as recommending wonderful restaurants and bakeries.  We are already thinking about when we can return to this little piece of heaven.

We had such a wonderful vacation staying at this B&B! The in-keepers Ellen and Linda were so friendly and accommodating.  We stayed in the apartment and it was so cute and cozy.  It was very comfortable and had everything we needed.  Having a washer and dryer and full kitchen while on vacation was a huge bonus! 
The grounds were beautiful and the B&B is set away from the hustle and bustle of the town with less than a mile drive to the beach. We rode bikes everyday and it was such a relaxing and scenic ride to the beach.  
We enjoyed going in the pool and using the sauna and steam room to unwind and relax after a busy day. 
We enjoyed our vacation so much that we even extended our trip an extra day!  Ellen and Linda felt like family and we were sad to leave. If you’re thinking about traveling to Ogunquit, book this serene place! You will be so happy you did!

The Beauport Inn is by far the best property I have ever visited! I travel for both work and pleasure and never felt more comfortable and at home as I did @ Beauport this past weekend. The property is beautiful, clean and peaceful. The amenities are second to none and the owners are two of the kindest and most accommodating people I have ever met. I can't wait to return!
