1st stay at Lillagaard, 2nd trip to Ocean Grove. Loooooooved my stay here! Traveling solo is not a concern in this area, felt safe at the Inn and out and about. Stayed in the Ocean View room which was perfect for 1 person. It did indeed have an ocean view! It wasnt overly hot while I was there - so open window and ceiling fan were sufficent. There is a window unit A/C - it is very close to the bed, so I am sure it would keep anyone cool. Breakfast was lovely. Access to the refridgerator and microwave were great for leftovers and late night snacks! Beach chairs, towels, and a spot to rinse sandy feet! Only suggestion would be to add a spot to fill water bottles. The porches are to die for with very comfortable seating. I enjoyed sitting out on the decks in the evening after a walk down to Asbury. Can't wait until I return to this area - will without hesitation book the Lillagaard again.
