The Worthington Resort

Genuinely cannot fault this place. I was there in October 2023 for 12 nights - my first time visiting the resort/USA. Wasn't 100% sure what to expect as a solo traveller here (travel regularly as a solo traveller in Europe) so I was quite nervous on arrival. However the staff were great and helped me relax. Other guests were also very friendly and made me feel welcome. I was one of the younger guests as most guests were over 40 but dont let that put you off as irrespective of the age everyone was there to have a good time and make friends. Alot of the guests were couples but again they were very keen get to know other guests so again dont let the fact there will be more couples there put you off. I got to know some amazing couples, and will be keeping in touch. Room was comfortable - only downside was i was on the very top floor of the 'Worthington' building and during some of my stay i was feeling a bit secluded as other rooms were empty of my floor as most guests were on the ground or first floor. However. even then i still enjoyed my visit. Kitchen is fully equipped and gym is decent sized with freeweights. As the resort is merged with The Grand and Villa Venice - that means three hot tubs and three pools available to use (and i guess once Alcazar renovation is complete that adds a fourth). I am delighted i chose this resort over my original choice of Axelbeach Miami. If i was to visit Florida/Ft Lauderdale again then definitely would stay here again - Thank you for making my visit pleasant.
