Courtyard Morgantown

My family and I had a great stay at the Morgantown Courtyard. The hotel has a great lobby area featuring comfortable furniture. My husband and I hung out there for a while after returning from our dinner in Morgantown. Our room that accommodated our family of 4 adults was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Most of all, we appreciated the service that we received from hotel staff, led by Cam, the manager and his team. I also enjoyed speaking with Megan who manages guest bookings. She and I spoke about the Courtyard brand not offering breakfast to its guests as part of the reservation. Rather, there is a fee based breakfast bar at which one can order one's own breakfast. I had not read the fine print beforehand, so I had thought that breakfast was included in our stay. However, I am in favor of the fee for service model, even though I think it is perhaps a bit overpriced. There is definitely much less food waste using this approach. The hotel was especially helpful to us in allowing my son to set up his computer in the unbooked meeting room. He was able to put in several hours of work before we left the hotel in the early afternoon. Thank you, Cam and staff for your great service!
