I had to cancel my stay there the day I was supposed to arrive and called up to cancel the room. They were very friendly and helpful with it. I've stayed there a few times now and like it. Close to town, friendly staff, family owned and run. Rooms are clean and it's close to town, nothing fancy but a nice place to stay.

It was a clean room, and for the price it was perfect. A mini fridge provided and not a lot of amenities but suitable for what was needed. Also within walking distance of our new favorite place the RBar!

Very nice place.  Low price.  We were given the cabin on the end which is nicely decorated with a (fake) fireplace and camo everything.  Great little place.  The decor really matched the small fishing/camping/hunting town.  I would stay again and definately recommend to friends/family visiting.

Always nice for the price.  Clean.  Owner even brought Thanksgiving dinner for my husband!

Clean room, not fancy but great for the price, super nice staff, would definitely stay here again! Love this area,so much to do, town of Warsaw a great place to visit, bought property here and cannot wait to live here permanently!

Excellent service. They gave us our rooms at 11am even though check in was not till 2pm... When there was a problem the problem was fixed immediately... rooms were clean, and comfortable.

Older motel, alot of effort in making rustic upgrades. Probably not for "yuppies". Very quiet. Good value

The place was really nice. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I really liked the way the room was decorated. It's the perfect overnight place to stay when fishing around Truman Lake.

They need to do two things to make it betterWashing machine & dryer Real Ice machine Dounuts & coffee So everyone can meet each other I went the to Meet someone special but did not find him thereSo came home Celebrated St Pat’s. I proved I was Real.

5 star for the cost & amenities.we had a fridge & microwave. Cute/clean for a cabin type stay. Great for families. Peaceful & close to down town & fishing. Roadhouse restaurant a block away with live music on weekends. Easy booking, check in/out. Pleasant on site owners. We will stay again & again. TY Headwaters! 

Great Gem to stay for the pay!

Great little out of the way vintage motel, very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean room that had all the essentials and was decorated nicely, and a quiet location. I spent a couple days there and was very pleased with it. Nice quiet location but not far off the highway, nothing fancy but a great room for a great price.

Great Old Style Motel

This simply decorated, rustic-looking motel had all the basic amenities like air conditioning and TV for a very good price and is very near downtown Warsaw, a charming small town in a scenic area.  The beds were very comfortable and the staff cheerfully brought in a microwave and refrigerator upon request.  We made good use of the picnic table outside to eat breakfast although there were at least a couple of restaurants in nearby Warsaw that also seemed to be good.

Relaxing motel in a good location

The owners are very nice. We stayes in the 2 cabins which is really one big building split in half. The rooms are connected but can be locked. Super thin walls though. Everything is very rustic, camouflage bed sheets and curtains, bottle opener in the bathroom. But everything was clean and well kept. There was a fridge and microwave. Coffee maker but no coffee. No toiletries at all except for hand soap. Large closet but no coat hangers.  No ice maker, pool, or vending machines. Parking lot is unpaved and full of potholes. Would I stay there again? Absolutely. Is it 5 star? No. Area seemed safe. Local bar right down the street. Excellent bbq place up around the corner.
