newly renovated! the place looks like new. the staff is friendly and kind. you can tell a lot of work has been done to give the place a face lift. new breakfast menu and evening menu. they give away beer and wine at night! good clean rooms and the pool was nice.

Spacious, functional, quiet, and clean with a decent breakfast. Overall a great experience. Would definitely stay here again. It was priced right, dog friendly and the bedding was not worn. Easy to find, good parking and staff was friendly.

Great stay

This is not my favorite Staybridge.  First room had a smoker before.  We were moved quickly to another room.  Hot water in coffee area was cold. Breakfast was poor. Oven out liquid eggs were in chaffing dish to try and cook. Items were empty. Room smelled strong with clorox or other cleaner. 

Midvale/Salt Lake Staybridge

I stayed at this Staybridge Suites in Midvale recently and couldn't have been happier about the stay. The gentlemen at the front desk who both checked me in and out were so nice and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean, and even though we stayed over a holiday and so didn't get to enjoy the full breakfast spread in the morning, it looks like they do provide a full breakfast to guests. I was especially pleased that I didn't have to jump through any hoops to stay with my dogs at this hotel. I also had to change my reservation to leave one night early and that process went smoothly too, with no charge for the night we had to cancel. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice Place with Friendly Staff

So What is this hotel like?  Take my advice and pass on this hotel.  I am a spire member with IHG so I have stayed 1000's of nights in hotels the last 40 years. Never in my life have i been treated so combatively by a front desk employee. Mr. Clilders I am so gldd you do not work fo my company, We would go out of business. He 3 times checked me and my guests into the wrong roomes resulting in having to move and the last people checking in getting a room that 2 other beople had sat on beds and used bathrooms.
One room has no lights in the kitchen or bathroom. Having to shower in the dark or by phone light. He would not move us to another room.  He said wait and talk to housekeeping in the morning.  i reminded him its dark at night and we leave in the morning.  He did noithing and said just add it to your complaint., Would not move rooms.

I had 3 rooms reserves for family and friends, With each room type based on how many kids in each room.  He mixed them all up 3 time,

I stoped by in the morning and spoke to a friendly helpful woman who put additional names on of arriving guesst on the rooms.

When I later came back for my room Mr Childers was so angry and combative.
 I tried to explain I had already done check in to the two arriving guests room and paid their deposit. and I needed my room He snapps and said you did not!! i said yes I did.  Then he goes ape shi? and raises his voice so I raise my voice Then I get a 5 minute lecture on how he is not my servand and i can not ever pay a deposit on other guests rooms.....this whent on for a long time. i asked him no so politely to stop talking and listen for 1 minute- enough for me to explain.
Other guests came up during the comotion to my wife and said they had been here for weeks and he was the biggest jerk--They used much more colorfull vulgar 

language.  Another employee also appoogidsed for him and said he was crazy. He will not under any circuhstanses give me a managers name and number. My other guest is affraid to call him to ask for bedding for the sofa sleeper for their 4 yr old..The other oes eat and shower in the dark
  So avoid this hotel unless you want everyone on edge, angry, showers in the dark, and sleeping on sofa beds with no bedding. Oh yes, and you must love to literally be yelled at and talked down to.  Again, I am so glad Bob works here and not for me.  

On a side note, the hotel is located by some good places to eat with easy freeway access, but it is loud at night with lots of police sirens., The beds and sofas are hard and unfomfortable. The kitchens are nice-- unless you get a room with no lights and a jerk desk supervisor who wont even move you to a new room. ( they had 5 available rooms  of the same type several other rooms per IHG's own website and confirmed by IHG reservation center) Thanks for nothing Bob!

Be Warned

As we drove into St George, I Called Staybridge to check prices, pressed 1to make reservation--liked the deal and made the reservation $115+21000 points and a $70 refundable charge for our 15#dog. We arrived at the hotel as I hung up. Entered to check in.  Was told they needed to check my card against the reservation. While getting the card I asked out the $70 for the pet would be refunded.  I was told that it was a $75 dollar non-refundable fee.  She handed a pet form that my husband starting filling out.  When I told the desk clerk that we would like to cancel the reservation she said she would reverse the charge but would keep the 21000 points because your points are lost the minute you make a reservation. When we explained that we felt cheated and we were losing whether we kept or cancelled the reservation, because we agreed to one reservation that they were not honoring, she grabbed the paper from my husband and told us to leave!

In effect, Staybridge is entrapping their guests by giving erroneous information from their international call center.

Can't trust reservations agents

Nice hotel in a central location, without having to stay downtown. Right off the highway, but as of November 2020, you can't get back on the highway due to construction. Skip the wing place in the parking lot behind the hotel, but stop in at Sodalicious for a refreshing drink and great cookie. The hotel was clean, quite, and comfortable.

Good Central Location

We had our 5k Specialized ebike stolen between 7-9 pm last night parked in front row of hotel entrance  .  It was locked up on our Thule rack and they used cable cutters .  Beware if staying in this area. There are NO CAMERAs in the parking lot.

Avoid this one if you are traveling with bikes.

They did a good job of accommodating our hosts and their guests. Parking was very convenient and the area was very clean and easy to access. The hotel is rather tucked away in a business district with lots of casual dining near by and proximity to freeway about 3-4 minutes.

Every staff member I met was extremely courteous and helpful. I have not experienced such great customer service at any other hotel lately. 
There are many logistically friendly eating establishments close by. But the hotel provides food in the eve on Mon Tues and Wed.
I high recommend this hotel.
