The Lodge at The International

With the help of Cody, we got an amazing deal for a large room with a king sized bed. The room was fabulous--very large, super clean, a working TV, a bunch of towels--you know, the basics but extra nice! We asked for a late check out since we got there so late at night and were just staying one night. They honored this request with an extra 1.5 hour checkout time so that was appreciated. The dining area was also gargantuan yet cozy. The selection of (free) breakfast foods was more than your average. You could choose from hot foods, cold foods including yogurt and fruits. I wish I had asked the attendant's name, she was awesome. Very caring and attentive to us. We chose this place because it was fairly close (25 minutes away) to where we were visiting a friend in Gardner. It was a last minute decision to not stay with our friend in her house so we were definitely happy when we were able to snag this room at a good price and we lucked out with a great staff. We visit my friend a few times a year so we will definitely be looking at the International first if we need a place to stay in the future. By the way, the surrounding environment is beautiful and merits a nice long walk--we will have to do this next time as we ran out of time!
