My wife and I recently had a delightful stay at the Orchard House  B&B. Sarah, and family, were wonderful hosts, providing comfortable accommodations, a truly delicious breakfast, and excellent coffee. The grounds were also well maintained, which provided for a relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast! The setting is so lovely and well designed. The owners are delightful and provide appreciated  amenities. Our breakfast presentation was perfect and also delicious! We would love to stay longer the next time!

We had a great stay at the Orchard House! The Thatchers are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. Even though we were only there one night, it was super relaxing and a great experience. We’d definitely recommend the early check in to give you some more time at the pool. We’d also highly recommend the extra option for dinner! It was so awesome to be able to enjoy a delicious three course dinner on the front porch overlooking the vineyard and not have to go out to eat. The breakfast in the morning was equally delicious as dinner and a great start to the day. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and get away, this is it!

A beautiful and wonderful property with beautiful rooms and views! The folks at Orchard House were amazing and so nice! The service was excellent and the food was "off the charts" great! We loved walking around the sprawling property and sitting on Adirondack chairs around the big gas fire pit! I recommend Orchard House to anyone!

Sarah was an absolute super host! The accommodations, service, and property were excellent! The food…oh my goodness! Sarah is a superb cook! Thank you for such a fabulous time! 5 Stars and 10 Smiley Faces!!!

All I can say is WOW! What a lovely bed and breakfast. I stayed in the smaller house on the property with some friends. The new owner, Lisa, is absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed the cider and wine tastings in the new barn. The breakfast was delicious. Her hospitality is top notch and I can’t wait to visit again! 

Comfortable, clean with a killer breakfast and amazing barn with yummy flights and friendly fast service! Love the new owners. Lisa and her husband were gracious and accommodating, we will definitely come back over and over again. Best weekend ever.

Thankful for such a beautiful get away as Orchard House Bed and Breakfast.  Right off the highway, but you can relax on the large front porch and feel like your in the country. The breakfast was tasty and made even better when the owner, Lisa, offered to serve us on the front porch.  The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds.  The Lynch family are working very hard at making this a special destination. Lisa was only a phone call away to answer questions.  She made our trip the best and we plan to return to this wonderful escape.

Our suite, the food & property were absolutely the best I've stayed at! 

I have a gluten allergy and they accommodated my dietary needs. 

My son who is a Marine is getting ready to deploy for a year, so we carved out 4 days during his short leave for some R&R and memory making! 

Deb & Mike were super helpful on suggesting areas of interest! 

I honestly can't think of one negative or area of improvement needed! 

We had a lot of spontaneous rain showers but thanks to the covered porches we were able to still enjoy our time outside. 

We stayed in the Farmhouse located on the property and loved our morning walks up to the big house for breakfast. 

We also enjoyed using the farmhouse kichen to cook a few meals & the living room to play our board games! 

Friendly staff and the breakfasts were exceptional.

Perfect Getaway 

Making Memories during Military Leave

We stayed at the Orchard House in Lovingston, Va for an Anniversary getaway. 
The main house is beautiful and the outsides grounds are scenic and peaceful.
The fire pit was relaxing at the end of a busy day.
Deb and Michael are great Inn keepers and great breakfast chefs!
They served coffee, “French Sumatra”, from Trager Brothers Organic coffee in town. We had to buy before visiting some local Wineries.
Would Love to stay here again!

Beutiful in Virginia

The B&B was fabulous.  Comfortable and Mike and Debbie were incredible hosts.  The house is well-kept and very quiet.

We opted for a wine tour and had a wonderful and varied experience.  Some of the wineries were so so but overall had another great experience with Mike.

I highly recommend Orchard House if you are in the area.  The scenery around Lovingston is beautiful.

Wonderful and Comfortable

Mike and Deb were incredible hosts and made us feel very welcome in their home. We were lucky enough to stay with them while their personal friends enjoyed some time at the Orchard House and we ALL had a wonderful wine and brewery tour (Wild Man Dan's is a hoot!!). We will no doubt return to relax, enjoy, unwind and unplug!!

Great Anniversary Weekend!!

Spotless B&B Great Hosts.  The breakfast was very good.  Mike and Debbie have a well kept property.  Sleeping was comfortable. 

We also took advantage of the wine tour. It was fun and the wineries were nice, but the cidery was our favorite. 

The front porch is a great place to have your morning coffee or a sun downer in the evening.

This was the most magical and wonderful
elopement weekend put together by Deb at the Orchard House! Working with Deb was absolutely delightful and easy experience! She was able to recommend the Blossoms florist, photographer Ashley Nichole VA ( ashleynicolephotographyrva)
and even obtain a baker for the beautiful wedding cake. Everything was a breeze! She thought of the most romantic little things, provided special touches such as chocolate covered strawberries & champagne; couples massage and even
charcuterie & wine to welcome the wedding couple!
To top it off, the the atmosphere and grounds at the Orchard House were quite beautiful! I can't thank Deb & the staff at the Orchard House enough, they were phenomenal and made everything so special!
Great memories were made here!
