Grand Circle Bed & Breakfast

The Grand Circle bed and breakfast, nestled in the town of Kanab, Utah, offers you a wonderful opportunity to stay in a kit home from 1912. While there, take a moment to read the history of the original owner and the interesting story on how he earned the money to make his home purchase. Eat a hearty breakfast at the Bed and Breakfast before you set out on your day of touring. The town of Kanab is a perfect spot to see several of the most desired state parks in the U.S. This also include the Grand Canyon; just a 78 mile drive away. The Zion national park is even closer. Learn about the Grand Staircase, and take a day to drive out to Bryce Canyon. Tips before setting out for the day. Fill the car! You will do a lot of driving! Call ahead to check status of the park you are planning to tour. These parks, on an average day, are apparently very busy. We traveled during a slow period. Take a picnic lunch each day. Think Subway! Sandwiches, salads, plenty of water, and fruit. We stopped at Walmart on the drive to Kanab and picked-up fruit and a huge pack of water. The Bed and Breakfast let us put our food in their fridge when we arrived. There isn't a Walmart in Kanab, but there are grocery stores. Take your camera! You will definetly need your camera. I promise, you will regret if you forgot it when you see these views. Stop at the travel center in Kanab. They can provide you with maps and plenty to to do. Motion sickness pills, if you or someone in the car suffer from this. Also, don't forget to take in all that Kanab has to offer. This part of the country has been a popular setting for movies and shows; Gun Smoke anyone? Check out Little Hollywood. Well-know actors of the past have stayed in Kanab while working on movie sets. Check out the local restaurants. Places such as the Rocking V, or Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen. There is plenty to do! When you are done with your day, head back to the Grand Circle, and relax with a drink on their outside seating area, and just take in the day!
