This is an older property on Shipyard, but it's kept immaculately clean. We had not stayed at this resort in nearly 20 years and were surprised to find them still beautifully maintained. The units still have the stunning wooden doors and stair railings. It's old school but a very nice change to all the metal doors and painted wood. The furnishings were all very comfortable and the kitchen had enough of everything to cook a few meals. The pool area was kept immaculately clean and we used the hot tub daily. January is a wonderful time to enjoy the beach, a bike ride and a nice dip in the hot tub. There were two bikes in the storage closet that came with the unit. There was a nice playground, grill, picnic area, tennis/pickle ball courts, and putting green all near the pool too. I imagine those are used a lot in the warmer months. We had lovely weather in the 50s and 60s during the day which was perfect for January. Who could ask for anything more?
