First time stay. You can’t beat the owners and Staff. First class all the way. Food was outstanding. Rooms were clean and no issues. We would definitely stay here again. Great location to see area attractions. Thanks Linda, Bill, Terri, Denise & Bailey !!!  

They have the best food here. Especially their breakfast. Great staff.  Also love that they have outdoor seating with a view of the lake.  Clean.   They also have a hotel and little cabins and a fishing launch service.    The owner is awesome 

After driving past this roadside gem a few times, my twin brother and I planned a guys fishing weekend here with his two young sons and one of our best friends. It was exactly what we were hoping for!
I love that this place is not trying to be a fancy resort; it’s the perfect combo of comfort, and rustic fishing lodge. We stayed in one of the suites on top of the restaurant. It was a lot nicer than I was expecting it to be, and the view of the lake was gorgeous! They’ve done a nice job of renovating the room enough where it is clean and relaxing, but keeping the identity of the old building. Is it the newest suite I’ve ever booked? Nope, and that was perfect for what we wanted for the weekend. The suite was very large. Two beds as well as two hide-a-bed sofas. A full kitchen with a stove and kitchen table — we could have prepared our own meals if we felt so inclined. 
Twin Pines also offers cabins on site, if you do not want to stay in the motel rooms, or if your group is too large for a standard room. 
The restaurant is awesome. The best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time.
We are already planning our next trip, and can’t wait to stay here again! 

I’ve driven by this place a million times and always thought it looked like a great spot to eat and stay. So, when the time came to book a place for a guys weekend up North the decision was easy.
From start to finish, Twin Pines exceeded all expectations. 
Our room was spacious, clean, and offered a fantastic view of the water. They were equipped with cable TVs (important when you have young kids with!), full kitchens and a large living area to hang out in when your kids are going to bed.
The restaurant at the base was everything you hope for from a northern cafe. Additionally, throughout the booking process, the staff was friendly and helpful.
I plan to be a frequent patron of the Twin Pines and will highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay on Mille Lacs.

great place to meet for a meal, hang out on the porch watching the lake, great food any time of the day. Bill and Linda are the best and make sure everyone has a good time! Will be back again for sure

We've been coming here for years for ice fishing. Absolutely outstanding food and drinks. Bill and Linda always take great care of us. Sara and Jessica are outstanding behind the bar. Highly recommend to stay here or stop for a bite on your way up North.

We went in for breakfast and it was very good. Had a Philly steak omlet and loaded hash browns.  The hashbrowns are the greatest.  I think they couldn't get any more in there and they are cooked crispy like I like.  The steak was tender and not overcooked too.  The coffee was pretty good as well.  The servers are nice and attentive even when busy.  Great place to stop even if you aren't staying there.

My siblings and I came there to have our reunion, we did the sleep, eat and fish package. It was very nice. Very peaceful being on the lake. We had 2 meals provided, lodging and two chartered fishing excertions a day with accommodations. The food was very good and there portions were huge. The cabins we stayed in were nice, the weather couldn't be more perfect. I did catch a Northern Pike which was 33" long. The staff were so nice and made our stay welcoming. Will never forget.

I've been going to this area years, and have yet to find a resort/launch/bar-restaurant that is better. The food here is affordable and AMAZING!!!! Linda Eno, the owner, is very accommodating and goes out of her way to ensure all guests have a great time. In a time and age where the MN Governor is doing everything he can to put the family owned business out of business, Twin Pines rises above amazing odds to deliver a great fishing experience and overall great time.

Very nice somewhat dated resort and motel right off the highway.  Affordable.  The room was rustic, roomy, and very clean.  Fishing trips are offered on the lake daily.  The restaurant downstairs offers phenomenal breakfasts at low cost.   The woman who manages the property was friendly, helpful and efficient.   I expected the resort to be secluded and woodsy,  which it isn’t,  but overall, was a positive experience

Fishing vacation

Went there for a surprise birthday party, and was pleased with the cabin, location, and food... Friendly service... I loved the fact that the cabin was in great location to the bar. It's not fancy, but if you're down to earth, you'll be able to appreciate this place...I clearly misjudged this place and area. We did not do fishing
