Amazing stay & room. Quiet & clean room just steps away from the action on Duval. Close to all the shopping & dining yet quiet & comfortable. We loved both our room & the quiet lovely pool. Thank you for a great stay in Key West, we will be back!!

Beautiful historical inn in great location.  However, definitely not sound proof rooms as we had to listen to conversations of guests next room over.  Also, so much street noise from passing cars and trucks made it very noisy inside our room.  We picked room 205 for the balcony.  If you select other rooms, you probably won’t have this problem.

Stayed here one night in the high season.  Reasonably priced.  Nice place overall.  The room was large and the bed very comfortable.  The bathroom was in good order, with a large shower.  Everything was clean and in decent condition.  Located in an old house, lots of charm.  Pool and garden at the back.  Several parking spaces on the side.  Check in and breakfast are done at the hotel across the street, which is part of the same group/property.  Breakfast was limited, but still, got a nice omelette and plenty of coffee/juice/etc.  Very centrally located.  10-15 minute walk to most of the key attractions in the center of Key West.  Would very much recommend for a short stay in Key West

Historic property worth staying there albeit high cost and resort fee.

This was our second stay at La Pensione. Our room was clean and comfortable. The inn is centrally located and within walking distance for sights, dining, and shopping.

We had a wonderful stay! We arrived and we were able to check in early. The parking was across the street and it felt very safe. The room was clean, very cute and exactly what we needed. We didn’t use the pool at all, the pool area is quite small but we did see others using it. Absolutely will be back

Very large, comfortable room and good location not right on Duval but within walking distance. Very accommodating with parking.

Comfortable bed, historic charm. Needs a full length mirror in the room, however.

Amazing staff and nice room.  The location was conveniently located near the south end of Duval Street.  We were able to walk to several decent restaurants is the area. We especially enjoyed Grignote. The bathroom was clean and updated.  The room was understandably small considering the age of which the building was constructed.  Of offered most of what was needed: microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, etc.  as mentioned by others, the breakfast selection  was below expectations, especially considering that there are many restaurants in the area that could cater to offer better options.  As a suggestion, get a waffle maker, offer egg whites and non pork meats.   Aside from that, it was a nice stay and the staff was very accommodating.

Wonderful, clean and great service

Perfect location, beautiful room and property. Walking across the street to the other hotel for check in and breakfast was fine, but would have been nicer to have those amenities on site. There is a beautiful community space on the property and it seems under utilized. Regardless, it was a nice place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone.

Key West charm, clean, and comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was within a 5 minute walk to Duval. Parking was covenient and safe for the car. The walk across the street to the main hotel only took 30 seconds to a minute. Breakfast was delicious with homemade omelettes pool-side. The neighborhood around it was kind of run-down. The room we had was great but it was bottom floor. With wood floors through-out, the people above were very loud and seemed to be awake all night. The entrance to our room was ground floor and maybe 50 feet from the sidewalk. Keep your doors locked! We did have someone try our door twice while we were there. Once in the middle of the night. All and all no complaints, but will search for something perhaps a bit further from the sidewalk and main drag of the town.

La Pensione is quite a charming boutique hotel.  The staff was amiable.  Two minor issues with the hotel were the hotel's location was super noisy (unable to get any sleep) and the breakfast area was too small to accommodate two hotels (sister hotel Silver Palms).  I'd look at other hotels when booking rooms in the future.

The King bed was very comfortable.  The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was good size and two shower heads was nice. If you stay,  walk over to El Siboney for Cuban food. The parking was available or at Silver Palms if full. The staff were very friendly and helpful.  We're local to Florida and probably would return.  TS Debby didnt spoil our weekend.

I love this hotel! I stayed here 3 nights last June and I only stayed 2 nights this time because they were booked. Hotel is old Key West… i had a huge balcony overlooking the street with plush chairs and a table. The room had all the conveniences. The staff is friendly & helpful.
There is coffee available in the lobby!!

Don’t miss the included breakfast including omelettes cooked to order by the pool! Very tasty! 
It’s within a 10–5 minute walk from most attractions.

My go to hotel in KEY WEST!

We enjoyed a daily breakfast that was available across the street at Silver Springs Inn. The breakfast had a decent variety of items to our liking including an omlet station. The room was very clean! The property was taken care of & the staff was very friendly & helpful!! The On the downside the room didn't have much natural light coming in due to the dark wooden shutters on the outside  covering the windows. BUT.....the darkness was a plus in the early morning hours! It felt very damp in the room. By the end of our stay our clothes even felt damp & the towels did not dry well.
