Friendly service from the manager. He was very accommodating and polite. The room was clean and parking was a non issue.

Safe, peaceful.  Hard floors free of carpet, dust or insects. Hygienic surfaces throughout. Almost full size refrigerator/ freezer in our room was so helpful since we travel with our own special food. Short drive to HEB and to Brackenridge Park where our Congregation event was held.  Staff is helpful and adequately available.  This is our second year to come, will likely come again. The price is a great value!

I travel for work and this is the right kind of place for that. It has everything I need. It’s clean. The WiFi works well. Fridge with a freezer so I could refreeze my ice packs. I didn’t see an ice machine but I didn’t ask either. All of the rooms are ground level so you can park in front of your room. I didn’t give 5 stars because a few bugs did get in because there was a gap at the bottom of the door. Other than that it was perfect for my needs.

Just passing through.

We needed a reasonable place to stay for a few nights due to an event we were attending in the area. This was one of the better places to stay from my understanding so we ended up booking a few nights there. I was amazed with the service that the front desk girl provided us with. She was very helpful and accommodating with all of our needs. The place itself is older and you should expect that it will have its flaws, but the staff there are ensuring that you have the best experience. We will definitely stay there again if we’re ever in the area.

5 star customer service!

We came in at 3am and the young lady that checked us was super polite. I think I woke her from her sleep but she still gave her best service. I have had my share of staying in different hotels for work, pleasure, vacation but I will say Jackson inn felt comfy, homey I slept right away. Everything was great.

Best Hotel to stay in

Went to Jackson County for a funeral last week, and was unable to get a room at my first choice where I had stayed before, and opted for Jackson Inn.  The motel is very clean and the staff is polite and helpful.  My issue was my perceptions regarding safety of location.  We were two women traveling alone.  The motel is in an area without close neighbors.  Several working men were staying there with their trucks and welding rigs.  A few looked somewhat scary.  The feeder road turned into the main street in Edna, so it was convenient to get to Pizza Hut.  However, going down that feeder to the main street we encountered some really seedy looking people as we drove through.  Two were in a heated argument and the third man, riding a bike, seemed hostile. The motel is right next to the train tracks, so we heard the train several times in the night.  I will not go back unless I am with my husband or brother.  In another location, this motel would be a good choice for an overnight stay.

Probably wont go back

Don't come in here expecting a luxury hotel.  When I was working in the area this place offered a clean room, courteous staff, and great price.  It was a place to lay my head at the end of the night and it served its purpose well.  The people managing the place (I think the owners live up front) obviously take pride in their property as it was well kept and clean.  Seemed like most people there were working or passing through so expect to hear the diesel pickups cranking up in the morning.  If I ever need a place to stay in Edna, I won't hesitate to stay there again if I'm on a budget.
