Quaint and quiet for our evening check in. Staff made everything easy by texting a code to a lock box with key, easy to find with instructions in the text. I was very pleased with how easy and hassle free everything was. Very clean, comfortable, crisp sheet bed. Had a great nights sleep and we were off, keys on the dresser early next morning. Wish we were staying longer, the grounds were beautiful early that morning!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The outside by the road was a bit run down and so I went passed it because I was looking for something more presentable just like I saw on line

The best of staying here is the wonderful family who manage the property. Check in process us great, very clean and quiet. We will come back anytime we visit our daughter in UConn

We stayed for one night as a family of three. It is a sweet inn with everything you need.The beds and duvet were very comfortable.There was coffee and some baking goods in the morning. March is still cold and not too green but I can't imagine how beautiful the area would be in the spring.

Had a little hiccup checking in (my husband didn’t read the check in directions) it was quickly resolved. Super cute, quaint comfortable room. Extremely clean. Nice note left for us on checking out. Lovely grounds. Breakfast was delicious blueberry muffins and coffee for us. A lovely assortment of fruits and yogurts available. Would highly recommend this inn if you are in the UCONN area.

We enjoyed our stay at Springhill Inn, the owners were attentive, Inn and our room was spotless. They offered a contactless entrance and left breakfast for us, in keeping w covid safety rules.  Attention to detail made this a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Spring Hill Inn

This property was very convenient. Easy self check in and check out. Very Clean. Not sure I would “vacation” here. Somewhat bare bones. That said, it was perfect for a one night stop over. I would recommend that the heat be turned up. Although I like sleeping in cool weather with covers, 60 degrees for a late January night in an old building was a bit too cool!

Room was super clean and bed comfortable. Odd that heat was on and it was 80 degrees out. Breakfast pickings were slim...plain yogurts, fruit, prepackaged muffins. No one around but manager was responsive and helpful by text. Old inn with creaking floors and doors so once someone on floor was up and about, everyone heard them. Cute, but not sure I would stay again.

A Great Bed and Breakfast!!!

My wife and I were looking for a 1 night stay on Long Island 's East End. Prices and length of stay required shut us out. After a great day experiencing the North Fork of LI we took the Orient Pt. ferry at 7PM which was delightful as it crossed the LI Sound during sunset. The innkeepers were excellent in msny ways. Very Covid conscious and we felt totally comfortable in that regard. No surprises. We had king bed in slightly larger rm which was adequate. There were many extra touches that weloned us such as Dove chocolates, better toiletries, a self service included breakfast with fresh muffins, fruit, etc. which were individually wrapped in keeping with their exceptionally clean facility. There is an outside area for relaxing which we didn't use. The bed linen was inviting but we both found the mattress a bit too soft with the feel of a water bed.The Inn is a very well maintained older home with a modern bathroom. The pricing was right and we would stay again.

Charming night away

This was a very quaint little country inn. It was very quiet and private. My daughter and I were visiting colleges near by and it was a great location. Gorgeous new bathroom. Very clean. The bed was comfortable. The owners made us feel welcome. There was no contact because of Covid but we felt safe that they did a good job keeping us safe. I highly recommend it! Great historical house!

Great Little Country Inn

Lee and Diane take great care of the Spring Hill in! What a lovely place to stay with extremely clean rooms, the comfort of coffee, juice and yogurt at any time and a beautiful property. The baked goods in the morning were an added treat :)They even left us some wine when they found out we would be on our honeymoon!

A friend and I stayed at this inn near the University of Connecticut as a jumping off point for a weekend tour of Connecticut's Quiet Corner. The room was good-sized with comfortable beds and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Dining options aren't numerous, especially in the immediate vicinity, though we had a nice dinner at a restaurant about a 10-12 minute drive away.

A Delightful Place to Stay near UConn

I rented Spring Hill Inn while visiting UConn with my daughter. It’s less than 5 minutes away and the stay was fantastic. Lee welcomed us and  greeted us warmly. He was happy to to share about the history of the home built in the 1700s. Lots of character but at the same time very well appointed and comfortable with renovated bathroom and very comfortable beds. There was delicious tea, yogurt and freshly cut fruit in the morning with a yummy coffee cake home baked by Diane. We felt spoiled and welcomed and will definitely return there whenever I need to be in the area.

Interesting, warm and comfortable.

I liked the quiet and spotless cleanliness. I wish the fruit and granola supplies had been placed closer to the coffee station. We did not see them until we were about to leave since we came in late at night. A note at the coffee station would have been enough to remind us to look there. But this was a very minor detail. This was a lovely place and I' be happy to recommend it.
