$55 seasons pass... thats less than 2 visits at regular price.  Kids love it, water park is fun.  Gret time for the family. 

They need to open the lazy river!   Other than that, it was a great visit.  Will be back for sure!

This place was really fab.

It was a little confusing trying to get to our lot, even despite the gate attendant marking it with a highlighter, but we did find it.  She had marked us to go one street farther over from the main road our lot was on.  

I did also wish it was easier to maneuver our jacknife trailer around in the grounds.

The employees in the General Store were so friendly.  
And they literally had everything you can think of, things other campgrounds do not.  
They offer souvenirs, camping supplies, RV supplies, actual food from milk and eggs to Mac n cheese and yogurt to buns and bread, fresh coffee and tea, cleaning supplies, sweet treats in their little bakery, clothes, firewood, water toys, toiletries and paper goods, RV decor and more.

They were offering BOGO's for lot rentals, at least for our pull through lot.

The grounds was amazing.  Very clean and actually despite the hills and uneven terrain, very easy to walk through.  

Plenty of paved parking in the parking lot, and the main roads and lot spaces were paved.  Everything else was gravel.

Lots of trees and plants.

They have sections for glamping, tenting on the ground not concrete, camper rentals, pull through lots with full hookups (electric, water and dumping station), and cabins.  

It felt safe to walk around at night.  Plus everyone was out at their campfires but were quiet, so it was peaceful.

They rent golf carts for 2 day minimum for like $60/day plus $120 deposit.  Wheelchairs were like $15 per day I think and scooters were $50 per day?!

The pool is only for the hotel guests.

They have plenty of inside bathrooms throughout the entire grounds.

They do not have trash cans by all sites, but they do have grills and picnic tables at most.

They offer a pizza restaurant, arcade, and bar and cafe, plus a regular souvenir shop.  

They also offer laundry machines, so if you don't have your own set in your RV, you can do it there.
 
They have massage chairs and rocking chairs along the souvenir shop.

Sanitizer stations are in the plaza.

It's much easier to get in from this side, as way less congestion/guest traffic so quicker security screening.  Once you enter, you're near the back.  The waterpark is near the front.

They have security guards and Sheriffs driving through frequently, especially at night.  Plus a Sheriff is often sitting in the parking lot by the General Store.

its a fraction of the cost of wonderland, and the same distance to drive from Hamilton, no line ups and crossing the border was a snap, highly recommend it, parking was also free and a short walk to the front gates

I cant say enough great things about the staff, facility and overall experience at the Darien Lake Campground.  We were assisted by Jennifer Mccormick in the camping office and she made for a wonderful weekend.  She helped us book one of the new cabins that fit our family perfectly. The cabins were clean, modern, quiet and had everything we needed.  Out front was a stamped concrete patio with a built in fire pit. We were just steps away from the park entrance but at night it still felt private and cozy.  The amenities and park at Darien Lake is great but with incredible employees like Jennifer it made the vacation a memorable one.  We will surely be returning to the Darien Lake Campground this year again!

Great 3 day family getaway. We stayed in the Ontario Place RVs (Prowler) and it was so nice. I brought cleaning supplies expecting to have to clean it to make it sanitary but the RV was spotless. Cleaned very thoroughly. Our walk to the park was short so the location was good. The amusement park was a good time, our whole family found rides to enjoy. The Splashtown water park was fun and refreshing!!! The water was very nice. The only complaint I have is the lack of workers. This created very long lines for food and few rides were open. However I'll also say that the workers who had to unfortunately had to manage whole rides and food stands alone were still all very professional. I didnt encounter a single miserable worker there the whole stay. Great job Darien Lake for a awesome family trip......just please properly staff the food and rides for the enjoyment of guests and benefit of workers

We stayed in a Preferred Lakeview Cabin. So hard to find info about this cabin online. We had cabin 21, closer to park. It had a set of twin bunk beds in a small bedroom, a queen bed in the family room and a full sized futon (well loved) next to the queen bed. There was an almost full sized fridge/freezer combo, air conditioning, a small bath with small shower and toilet /sink. There was one stool, an outdoor table with 3 plastic chairs. 
No linens or towels provided. No soap or paper towels provided. No plates or utensils or cooking supplies provided. You need to pack like you are going camping.
It seemed clean and tidy, beds are pretty comfy and have mattress protectors on them. This is also a little attic where kids could hang out. 

We visited the park in late June and it was not busy. We were able to go on all the rides we desired with little delay for most. Visiting for a full day will allow you to see all the park has to offer.

went on a Saturday rain on and of so i suspect the crowds weren't a large.. they did not give out a map of the park and there were not any of the fixed you are here maps. you wandered around or ask someone to find specific rides . They had plenty of billboards for there meal plan and up grade to a season pass. after dark some areas had only minimal lighting . We were there for a credit union picnic the food was just ok . wife and kids had a great time . the park was clean. the ride lines were reasonable. kids and wife rode mostly coasters which they loved.girl on the ski bobs appeared in a bad mood think that ride was excessively short.overall a fun place to spend the day.water is 4 dollars a bottle bring your refillable and fill it up from the water fountains.

We stayed at the property in July for a Thursday to Saturday stay with our family. We stayed in a preferred lakeview cabin. The campground itself was very quiet and clean. We visited the park and found staying on site extremely convenient. 

The cabin itself (Cabin 15) was filthy. There was a strange smell to the entire cabin upon arrival, the floor was dirty, there were cobwebs and dust caked everywhere, the stove top was filthy, the door and windows were so disgusting. Upon arrival I used a lysol wipe to clean surfaces and the cloths were black. The blinds in the bedroom were busted.  The AC unit does not regulate, when it was running it was way too cold when it wasn't on, it was way to stuffy, the ceiling fan was loud and wobbly, the entire place when the AC was on felt damp. 

The bad smell was overwhelming, I cannot place what the smell was but we had to open all the windows because it was awful and we could smell it on our stuff after we arrived home. The view was not great, there was a slight view of the park to the right and the lakefront itself was sludgy and slimy and had garbage floating in it. 

The shower in the cabin was so small it was laughable and again the washroom was filthy, there was hairs everywhere. We paid over $1000 CAD for the 2 nights and honestly, it did not feel worth it to us. Fun experience, but way too pricey for what it was. The kitchen had a small fridge, which runs very high and froze everything. There was a toaster that did not work, and a dirty stove top. There is a mousetrap in the closet and bugs everywhere. I felt very uneasy the entire time due to the fact the place was so dirty. I was very worried that we would bring home a bug of some sort with us. 

The campground itself has no amenities unless you are going into the park. We found the store to be very overpriced (as to be expected) but if we could offer one suggestion it would be to get your firewood before coming to the park. The store does not take cash at all, its a cashless place entirely. Staff in the store were not that friendly.  Check in and check out process was very easy but was odd that at check in literally no information at all was given about the place, but again what was there to say? as there were no fun extra amenities at the campground. No playground, no beach, no sports areas, no trails...there really was nothing to do but hang around your campsite or go to the park. 

The Park was an extra expense (over $100 CAD) for 3 of us. Which wasn't a bad price but the park was also not that exciting. Many rides were not working, lines were quick for the most part and the park itself was confusing and we found the maps to be useless. Cash is not accepted anywhere. We did attend the water park, which was also not so great. The surrounding area is paved in black pavement that you literally burn your feet walking from one area to the next (note to self: next time do not forget flipflops!) They had tube rentals which were an additional $12 each that you needed in order to use the lazy river. We found this to be disappointing and way too expensive for the entire family. If you returned your tube, you would get a bottle of water...seemed a bit ridiculous!

Mixed review

Stayed for 5 days, park was ok, grounds were not kept that well maintained . Grass was long and hadn't been trimmed for a very long time ( our site anyways.) .. we brought our own trailer and the sites are a decent size.  Water pressure wasn't great . Had fire pits but no rings They had alot of  older rental trailers that looked very dated and dont look like they were ever washed ( outside looked bad ) burn marks on the outside by the water heater . They do have newer ones that looked nice but give it time, I'm sure they won't look good for long. They also had rental golf carts available that could be nice if you are deep in the park. The amusement park was great , kids had a great time..a few rides were closed for staffing reasons but just because of the time of year I guess... Water park was ok, lazy river was closed , water was cold and 120 bucks U.S to rent a gazebo by the pool for the day is insane..  Would return but bring your own trailer and mostly for the rides. Campground isnt anything special.
