Host was very helpful and made great breakfasts

Host was amazing.  We enjoyed the experience immensely.

Entire place was very clean, staff was very accommodating and hospitable.Great location!!!

Very quiet and warm. Owner is very communicative.

The Charlevoix House was delightful and very closely located by the ferry boat dock and downtown.  The only complaint I had was the very creaky floor of the very old house.  The staff is very aware of it and planning to address it.Though one could say the creaking floor was a feature of the old house, and not a complaint.All the rooms were unique, and the kitchen and common areas were nice and spacious.

Liz and Steffan were amazing innkeepers and blessed to have found this incredible B&B with easy access to town and the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline! I can't wait to have the family with me next time and stay again! Wonderful experience and comfy quarters! 🤗 Highly recommend 💯

The location of the Charlevoix house is perfect, you’re easily able to walk to town for dinner, festivals, etc. it was clean & the staff was very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Real and Good Breakfast Included.

Generally happy.  Few notes. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast options were good however organization was not intuitive.  Had to ask other guests where things were.  Hot water took a long time to reach our taps. Noise from nearby Hotel Earl was heard in our room.  Wifi was a little temperamental. Lounge area was nice.  Suggest they have some Charlevoix maps out for guests to take.

Very walkable from the downtown shopping/dining area!  We were in town for a family function in nearby East Jordan, which we were pleased was only a 15-20 minute drive away.  The innkeepers were very pleasant.  Only drawback was the creaking of being  in an older home (LOL, just not used to it) and our room was in the front of the house, views were good, but could hear busy traffic during the day (less so at night). But all in all a very pleasant stay.

This is a big beautiful old home in Charlevoix, about 1-2 blocks from the bridge, pier, and downtown area. It's beautifully restored and each room has an individual personality. Very comfortable beds. A tasty and generous breakfast. Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. This is definitely a keeper for future visits to Charlevoix.

Stefan and Liz were super accommodating. Liz makes the BEST breakfast and makes you feel like family. We almost forgot to take pictures the first day and really forgot the second day. We look forward to inviting our family to stay here since we just moved to the area. We will definitely be back ourselves!

Liz and Stephan were wonderful hosts!! I had to travel to Charlevoix for my mothers funeral... Liz and Stephan made me feel comfortable and welcome during a difficult time. The bathroom plumbing (sink has liw pressure, toilet runs, showerhas an "aggressive " leak...) needs some attention. But overall i would absolutely recommend the Charlevoix House! Clean, safe, comfortable and very reasonably priced!!

We stayed there Friday and Saturday night. Great experience. Very quaint bed and breakfast.The inn keepers were Stefan (sorry if wrong spelling) at night and Liz in the morning. Both were very helpful and friendly.Liz made a good breakfast. Right downtown Charlevoix easy to walk along the waterfront, shops, and restaurants.We will be staying there when we visit family.

Charlevoix Gem

It was nice, and clean.  It did not feel very homey, like some B&Bs.  Breakfast was also different… mostly store bought food and self-serve.  Internet was good.  TV was terrible… could not even get a free local news station.  Had to log in my own Amazon Prime account.  No 24/7 coffee (unless you raided the kitchen and made your own), no special treats like a cookie at check-in.  For the price, I was disappointed, and would not recommend to those who typically savor a B&B experience.

Fall Getaway

Lovely and unique home with very nice staff night and day.Breakfast was a bit hard to figure out as it was self-serve in various areas.  But it was good and plentiful.  Our room was in the third floor with very steep steps.  Loved the room and appreciated the help getting our luggage up there. We definitely recommend this place.

We had a three day stay for a family event.  It was conveniently located and walking distance to the main drag.  Innkeeper Liz and breakfast offering was excellent. Fresh coffee and REAL food.  The room was clean and very tidy.  Bathroom also clean and functional but patched and fixtures unstable. New mattress needed for sofa bed in the suite.  Some repairs underway but the place needs some renovations for the asked price.  If you are looking for clean and convenient with no frills, it is a good place.  Pricey though for after Labor Day and before the colors.  Your call.
