Antoinette's Apartments & Suites

The Peppenelli Suite was a perfect fit for us -- two good friends who love Cape May and all it has to offer. And, with a large queen-sized bed, a generous-sized single bed, and a sleeper sofa, it can comfortably sleep 5. While maintaining its Victorian charm, it nevertheless is firmly in the 21st century with a modern bath, new air conditioning units, flat screen tv, and wifi available. If you don't mind the walk up to the second floor, you will enjoy the quiet location. We loved the ability to cook in the kitchen, fully-equipped with gas stove, full-sized refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, pots & pans, and a full compliment of dishes and utensils. It was a short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to shopping and galleries at the Washington Street open air mall, as well as to countless restaurants. Mornings we sat on the rockers on the shaded front porch, sipping tea, and again in the evenings as the sound of horse-drawn buggies clip-clopped down the street. There are also 2 outside tables in the side yard and a place to grill. Antoinette's provides lots of extras like bicycles and beach gear and an extensive library with books and dvd's to borrow. We stayed for 2 weeks, so access to a washing machine and clothesline was quiet helpful. We found Antoinette's to be thoroughly charming and comfortable, and reasonably priced-- a perfect fit. It was our second year here, and we'd love to return.
