Travelers Motel

When traveling with a menagerie, it’s a challenge to find something clean, comfortable and pet positive. We had the added requirement of horse trailer parking needs as well. This , adorably eclectic stop over was just perfect. Comfy bed , freshly laundered linens( INCLUDING the bed spread/ quilt) a surprisingly complete toiletry offering. I’m talking Qtips here. Coffee service in the room included decaf tea! And the window Aircon unit worked wonderfully on the 96 degree day. Is it a stones throw off the freeway ? Yes it is . Is there traffic noise? Yes there is if you sleep with the aircon off. But they do provide earplugs if you need ,right on the bedside tables. There is a laundry room and ice maker, In room mini fridge and microwave. Outside are seating areas with a fire pit in a throwback from when people on a car trip actually associated with other travelers as part of the road trip/ vacay experience. We had a comfortable over night with all the animals and a decent burger and chicken wrap right across the street at Kenny’s . Take a chance on some of these mom and pop motels with the quaint 1940s car trip vibes. You might be pleasantly surprised.
