This hotel is clean. The gym is usually nice although it is currently under construction. The rooms don’t have bath tubs or refrigerators (unless you are a VP). The service is excellent. The staff takes time to learn your name and they are kind and attentive. 

Nice work hotel

Many LM employees are used to coming to the CLE and it's a great place! At first, it appears a little sterile when you first get used to it in terms of ambiance and decorating but after a few times, you really learn to appreciate the place. I personally have been coming here for 5 years, multiple times a year, and I have found the staff is extremely professional and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.  It also has room service and a very close by mall so it's very convenient. I have not had a bad experience yet and I look forward to coming to the CLE because of the convenience factor and of course the famous FOOD! Best food ever! #CLEpoundsWeightGain

Feels like a second home!

For a strictly business hotel, this is a lovely place. Excellent service and so convenient work-wise. Will warn people, once people come in, they rarely leave. But the rooms are great the food quality, and exceptional service. 

Nice hotel

Nice hotel. I wish there were baths and mini fridges in the rooms, but rolling out of bed into a meeting is unbeatable. The food is pretty good for hotel food too. The employees are all incredibly friendly and nice. 

For a work hotel, this is great

For a working hotel, this is great.

The wifi and TV channels leave a little to be desired but the accommodations are nice. The rooms are clean, the bed is nice and the bar and restaurants near the lobby are good. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly high quality as well. I like being here a lot more than the accommodations I had at a private hotel.  

There is a guard at the entrance making sure you work for LM but calling it a prison is overdramatic. You are free to come and go as you please.

Beter than what your per-deim will get you elsewhere

I was apprehensive about coming here given the heinous reviews, and perhaps because of them I was pleasantly shocked. I would contrast to the previous reviewer to say that I found the CLE to be more consistently comfortable and pleasant than most "approved" hotels I find myself staying in for business. The Benchmark Hospitality staff are exceedingly helpful and gracious; the food is almost amusingly ample and of uniformly high quality (and available 24 hours); and the amenities I would rate on par with the best four-star hotels I've used. The facility is aesthetically quite beautiful and modern (LEED certified).

Regarding security; yes, it is not a public free-for-all, nor is it meant to be, but one can take advantage of the upsides of being situated on the Lockheed Martin campus. Not having to strategically hide technology under mattress cushions during the day or worry about the security of my vehicle in the parking garage was refreshing. The reasonable assurance of a good night's sleep with no risk of being kept awake by street noise or raucous drunken revelry in adjacent rooms was also a plus (note that alcohol is allowed and served at the bar). Furthermore, access to the facility is free and easy, and I encountered no difficulty leaving and returning to campus late at night with my own car (remember to have your badge with you). 
 
The bottom line is that it's really quite a nice hotel with outstanding staff and I would likely stay here whether or not required by policy. The only identifiable downside is the inability to bring guests onto campus; however, it's likely that you aren't coming here for social purposes anyway.
